    Hi Krzysztof
you know i'm going to love this one.
perhaps your best lighting/exposure/clarity shot yet of this majestic Castle.
interesting to see the sprinkling of homes in the low bg too.
lovely blues to compliment the greens
    nice shot

    Hi Roland
so this is the famous island of Mykonos right?
I hear this is the party island? lots of nightclubs and drinking going on with the young crowd.

if so, than this is certainly a different take on the subject material :)

    looks quite casual and relaxed.
on a side note, its interesting for me as a Canadian to see all the smoking ash trays on the tables - that would be hard to find here in Canada!

rustic scene with the windmills in the bg too, i like this one

looks like the perfect kind of day for taking out the old sailboat :)
looks windy, but thats what they want.
I'd feel much more comfortable on the ground/land.

    Hi Ann
I think next time you need to add more color and spice to your photo, not enough in this one haha :)

your story reminds me of a story i heard from a friend of mine. She was traveling through Ireland, and visited a pub which was over 100 years old, not sure how old exactly....but anyways...because of it being constructed so long ago, most people back then were much shorter in height.
So the door was VERY short compared to our doors today...interesting right?

maybe not your most PRETTY photograph but it certainly sparkles and shines. Where are my sunglasses!
    cheers

    Hi Gildas
we don't often get to see alot of browns, pure browns like this on our photos. this is a nice compliment with the blues and whites, they work well together i think.
smart placement of the horizon line as well, don't place it at the half way mark :) looks best up where you placed it.

you know how much i often say that we as photographers need to look UP more often....this is exactly why!
look at the photo you captured, its brilliant.
I also like that the you took it in the vertical but presented it sideways, very clever final result.
moody, textural, fun composition, looks great.

Hard to pass up on this gal.

    Hi Kasia
first of all, thanks so much for your kind words on my post from Zion NP, really appreciate it :)

I have noticed something about you, and please tell me if i'm right or wrong! This photo stood out for me because its a HAPPY PEOPLE photo...seems like you usually post more sullen, sad, real-life, hard-life stories/photos of people.

So this is something a little bit different for you I think.
but again, i could be wrong.

wonderful to see the children at play, enjoying each others company, and just living in the moment.
The eye contact is good too.

    Keep them coming

    Hi Rob
I've never been to Washington...would you recommend it?
I've never really thought of it as a city to go for for a few days, there are so many other great US cities to explore.

Totally agree with you bout the lady, she looks nervous or at least uncomfortable standing there.

and as for the man, classic scene to have the American flag with him to draw attention, and to draw sympathy from fellow American lovers.

a neat little interaction between 2 complete opposite strangers.

wow...i didn't know we had one of these large spiders in Canada!!!!! I'm seriously surprised, I truly didn't know.
I know about the famous one in Spain, but not here.

looks like quite the peaceful type of day, the light is strong but not overly strong or overexposed.
the two main subjects totally contrast eachother in a very fun way! thats great.
    thanks for this one

    HI Mariusz
    great looking photo all around.
this one is all about the composition.
having the raised bridge in the fg sets it all up.
having the church in the bg gives the photo a clear FG/BG separation - its like having 2 shots in one.
the sky is crystal clear, the light is fantastic.
I wouldn't change anything - except perhaps adding a lady in a bright red dress on the bridge haha
