Salut Denis. The green is so vivid and a heaven for the cows and goats. The whole place is so inviting and reading about the cheeses I wish I was there enjoying the fresh air, the local cheese, freshly baked bread and a glass of something fortifying.A beautiful place on a beautiful day. Lucky you. Amicalement. Klaudio.

Hi Chris. A brightly coloured image of this place and considering who is buried there the colours of life are most suitable tribute to the great Rumi (one of the most translated and loved Persian poets in the West). I was allowed to take photos of the tomb- please have a look at my gallery and please read the note I wrote. For me it was a very emotional visit for I love Rumi's poetry and his universality in sentiment. A great man who taught tolerance towards all faiths. Great POV and I particularly like the woman's red headscarf. Best wishes. Klaudio.

Hi Calrk. It does look untouched and remote. Lovely tinge of apricot but on reading your note I see that man's hand is involved here as well. One benefit was the chance to shoot against the sun thanks to the haze. Nice composition with the curving river. Regards. Klaudio.

Salam Masoomeh. Dramatic night shot in which the details are very clear and the light is well managed even if the ISO is 1600 and exposure 1/30. I would have expected some grain in the image.I presume you used a tripod.Welcome to TE Masooneh. I think that the moderators will not like your note, they expect more information and not the same thing repeated five times. Regards. Klaudio.

    Hola dear Angel

I remember your previous photos of a cascade and wonder if it is the same place or a different national park. Either way, the cascade is very beautiful and you did so well to manage the difficult dappled light. The colours of the water and foliage are delightful. What an enchanting place, well done.

    Un abrazo

    Hi dear Kari

What a pretty view for these lucky Milka cows. The depth is so good here, I can account for even the furthest crag on that mountain. You did really well in the harsh sunlight and really captured the character and immaculate beauty of this country.

Have a good week and thanks for your kind words on MH17, we are all in shock and many of us know a family who was lost in the crash

    Gidday Noel

I always thought you were a "stay in the scratcher for sunrise" type of guy. But I have been disabused of that idea by this excellent photo. The other thing I've been disabused of is that I had no idea Galway had anything to with the Burren, thinking it was solely County Clare. You've done a lot of disabusing today with this excellent photo, well done. I like the minimalism here and the way you composed the shot, which adds to the desolate, vast landscape. So whilst I like the light, settings etc., it's the atmosphere you create here, the solitude, that reaches out and grabs me. Nice work.

    Have a lovely day

Ooh nice package. I think I appreciate that more than Clodo would. But anyway. Sorry I can't take my eyes of it and am having trouble concentrating on what it is he's actually doing. Oh, machetes, always a dangerous thing to have around exposed goolii. But great definition, depth and colour. It's a very, err, three dimensional, dynamic image. Think I need a cigarette now.

Hi Chris. The whole thing reminds me of Shelley's poem Ozymindias so that I shall not go to Nemrut for I would find it too sad.
    Shelley's "Ozymandias"

I met a traveller from an antique land
Who said: "Two vast and trunkless legs of stone
Stand in the desert. Near them, on the sand,
Half sunk, a shattered visage lies, whose frown,
And wrinkled lip, and sneer of cold command,
Tell that its sculptor well those passions read
Which yet survive, stamped on these lifeless things,
The hand that mocked them and the heart that fed:
And on the pedestal these words appear:
'My name is Ozymandias, king of kings:
Look on my works, ye Mighty, and despair!'
Nothing beside remains. Round the decay
Of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare
The lone and level sands stretch far away."
    Regards,
    Klaudio

Wow this looks like something out of Lord of the Rings. And this time you definitely have the light with you in this early Blue Hour. beautiful contrast of the stonework and the powder blue sky. Excellent details despite the low light and of course this is one very compelling and unique subject.

The Canadian Dirtbag strikes again! She's one hot mamma. I can't tell if she's the same dame in the white outfit of your previous photo, but she looks even better here. The red flowing dress contrasts beautifully against the white-washed buildings. Nice stalking...errrr...spotting.

Have a great time in Chicago. I'm going walkabout.

This is a lovely shot of the fisherman and his boat. The narrow vertical cut suits it so well and adds depth and length to the characteristic fishing boat. Wonderful colours and lovely sunlight. Excellent work, thanks for sharing.

I hope you are keeping well.
