    Hi Murat,

Soaring to new heights once again I see, and once more, I'm glad to be safely ground and viewing this from the comfort of home. :) What an amazing, open and expansive view over the forested landscape. From a desert perspective, I'm having a difficult time grasping all of this green color. :) The bridge in the distance makes for a nice focal point amongst the terrain and horizon. Hope you held on tightly while taking this shot, I'm nervous just looking at it! lol Have a safe and fun filled journey overseas. Take good care. See ya' back soon.

    Friendly wishes,

    Hi Noel,

Sounds like you have a virtual, and somewhat macabre, Dr. Suess thing going here with the Cat and the Rat. "The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you'll go." :)

And so it goes...another wonderful note detailing the rich history and significance you provide us with in your photos. And I applaud your ability to shoot a scene like this. As John pointed out, this is rarely, if ever, an easy exposure to manage...but you've come away with a pleasant interior shot. I especially like the configuration of windows, each one angled and spread across the frame with the faint red glow to illuminate just enough of the surrounding architectural detail for added intrigue.

And speaking of intrigue, I hope you made a cryptic tour down below, I'd love to get a look at those...especially with Halloween looming in the near distance. :) Boo! Have a great day ahead. All the best.

Cheers from sunny, and still hot Phoenix,

    Jason

    Hi Gerrit,

I suppose if you must say goodbye, this is the way to do it! :) What a lovely sunset of color, the shades of red are pure delight...especially with the touch of blue making it's way into the frame. The kind of moment that simply takes us away on a relaxing little journey into the night. I love the silhouetted figure standing alone on the beach front, the perfect presence to round out this scene. Enjoy the weekend ahead. All the best.

    Hi Ourania,

Whew, you slowed down long enough that I could get back to this one. :) I know I can comment on more than one per day, but I usually run out of enough free time!? Oh, the trials of life, eh? lol

I too, am absorbing the view...and it's a splendid one with these two central figures dominating the frame with their presence and heavy contrast. I love a good silhouetted figure, and this simply doubles the pleasure. :) And how great that the young lady appears to be shading her eyes, giving credence to the strong daylight that envelopes the scene.

Perfect choice of black & white, I'm sure we've all done the same to try and compensate for exposure levels...I know I sure have more than once! Besides, it renders a nice artistic effect, almost nostalgic. A lovely view of a lovely view. have a great day ahead. All the best.

    Friendly wishes,

    Jason

    Hello there Mr. Benny,

Oooh...ribbed, for our pleasure. hehe It does look like giant organ pipes, but my mind always sinks to the lowest levels of perception.

So, you say this is the "rear upwards view"...seriously, are you just baiting me into a note that I'll regret?? :P I won't go any further, you already understand where it might be headed!?

You know, I'd say this fits in with the "red" theme, it sure looks to be that color on my monitor. What's really captivating though is the light...my word, whatever you did to come up with this effect is outstanding!

As you mention Joker, this does have that look and feel of Gotham, the darkened sky in contrast, and what looks to be the bat signal in shadow slowly creeping up from the bottom of the frame is intensely cool!

Somewhere out there is a person in distress, calling out for help...perhaps all of us, needing more money to afford such an accommodation....juuuuust a bit out of my price range unfortunately!? And by "just,' I mean a LOT! Awesome perspective and more slick processing mate, this is a sweet finished product.

    Cheers from the bat cave,

    Bruce Wayneovitch

    Bonjour Roland,

Such an impactful color, yeah? Amazing how even the smallest of subjects adorned in red can make such a big impression on a photo. Although our eyes are instantly drawn towards this lady in passing, there are still plenty of surrounding context and details which emerge for our viewing pleasure. Very well timed to have her placed in the open space, while also catching the military personnel in stride. A splendid result an awareness of the opportunity. Bon weekend. All the best.

    Amicalement,

    Jason

    Hi Luis,

An architecture lovers delight, La Defense. So many possibilities exist here, and even if architecture isn't your forte, the inner photographer will inevitably find something of interest...and if you do enjoy this subject material, well then...the creative juices can really get flowing.:) This is a wonderful example of taking what's provided and putting it to best use. The geometric effect is superb in this smart composition, a great way to look at things with a fresh perspective, while maintaining a graphic punch. Light, shade and color play a great role in this arrangement, and you've certainly put them on fine display! Enjoy the weekend ahead. All the best.

    Friendly wishes,

    Jason

    Hi Rosemary,

From one photographer to another, eh...this was quite a stroke of good luck. Sure, the scene may have presented itself to be professional and virtually hand-crafted from experience...but you've done a wonderful job in capturing the essence of the opportunity provided. And technically speaking...the details, colors, textures, exposure, etc. etc. look superb on my monitor. A lot to take in from this single frame, and as someone who loves dogs...it's the perfect compliment and addition to the entire scene. :) Very well done! Enjoy the weekend. Take good care.

    Bonjour Emmanuel,

Anything to do with France/Paris will always catch my attention, and since I was just watching a movie which is partially centered around a cinema in Paris during WWII, I couldn't help but take notice of this fine trio of pictures. I love the black & white processing you've achieved here, it has quite a nostalgic look and feel about it, and is also a wonderful idea to present this subject in such a manner. A small theater, but big with that "timeless classic" appeal. Nicely done! Enjoy the rest of the day. Take care.

Fine candid of the canal boat up close, and its operator in colorful vest and bowler hat, plus a watchful 'mate'.
