Hello Gert, We seen this part of the bridge with the interesting mixture of different styles. A bridge a bit like Gothic and behind it the blocks remembering DDR time. Interesting mural (that I haven't noticed :)) and I like this railing on the bridge. Good two Workshop photos, we can see that the pictures there are updated :). I haven't been in this museum. I still remember the real wall, from both sides. When I was near the Brandenburger Tor last time, I just went through it several times.

    Kind regrad s Malgo

    Hello Daniel,

I think this must be one of your favourite themes, along with balconies in Malta!
There is no doubting that the trams make a great photographic subject and you have done well to get two in the one shot.
I like how you have used the rails so effectively and created an excellent sense of depth to this steep hill!

    Have a good day,
    Bev :-)

    Hello John,

This is a very well composed photograph with the main sculpture strongly placed and standing proud of the buildings. The people around add human interest and create a relaxed atmosphere.
Despite the grey sky, the details are pin sharp and the colours have lost none of their saturation.

    Have a great day,

    Hello Gyorgy,

I think you are right in your supposition, the light on the young man's face makes him appear reflective. Certainly, he is the one whose features are sharp and he immediately becomes the focal figure.
The lighting was very difficult for this shot but you have picked out a main character where the difficult light works in your favour.

    Have a lovely day,
    Bev :-)

    Hello Christiane,

    This is a beautiful photograph!
The statue is immediately noticed and is strongly placed.
I love how the curved path guides us through the gardens before ultimately leading to the palace.
Your composition ensures that everything is noticed!

    Hello Lars,

The church is amazing. It stands so tall and proud, even after so many centuries.
I like how you have composed your photograph so that the town is linked to the countryside, with the church tower strongly positioned and dominant.
The clarity of the photograph and the colours are excellent; even the sky plays a role.

    Hello Benny,

This is a very well composed photograph of different elements and shapes, so that they linkin a pleasing fashion.
The 'eye' is perfectly placed, whilst the curved structure unites all the pieces. I really like it!

    Hello Abmdsudi,

WE have seen many wonderful sunsets on TE but, when there is a story attached, too, it makes the scene so much more interesting. I just love the inclusion of the figures, all sharing the scene, the overhanging tree for depth and how it is perfectly balanced with the area of the setting sun.
The colours are warm and welcoming; we really want to be there!

    Have a great day,

    Witaj Krzysztof,

What interesting notes and how great that this medieval well has been restored. It must have been very important in days gone by!
I like how you have made the well fill the f/g so that we can appreciate all its details and also, you have added enough b/g information to allow us to understand the setting.

    Ciao Caro Luciano,

This is such a fun shot!
WE cannot help but secretly 'people watch' these figures intent on 'beauty' therapy!
Apart from the amusement you have provided, this is a very well worked photograph. The positioning of the main character gives a diagonal across the frame, at opposition to the line of the water fall and the clarity is excellent.

    Bonjour Nicolas,

    This is so well observed!
The silhouetted roof and chimneys and perfectly positioned in the frame and then the moon, the focal image, appears to be emerging from a chimney, like a puff of gold!

Personally, I would have cropped the upper shadow.

    Hello Mariusz,

I'm sure your daughter has very good taste, she knew this was the best!
It does look a glorious sandy beach and I was interested to read that it had been imported from the Sahara! I wonder how many ship loads it took?
You were clever to use the cactus in the f/g for it has created an excellent sense of depth to the beach. Your chosen viewpoint was perfect for capturing the curve of the beach and placing the tightly packed buildings in such a strong compositional position.

    Have a great day,

If ever you posted a moody photograph, this has to be it!
You have given us the character of the area with its rocky surrounds and fast rippling burn, set against the moody mountains under a heavy, grey sky! Who could doubt the mystical attraction of Scotland!

This is a very colourful photograph which immediately makes it feel happy and humorous. It's full of activity (apart from the languid, focal figure, but he draws our attention because of his contrast!).
You have sharp and blurred, horizontal and verticals, active and sloth ... it's a great shot!

    Hello Chris,

You sound to have had a tough time in your quest for exploration and photography! This does look like a gem of a find, though! The ancient ruins appear to be dipping toes in the water!
You have composed the shot well, the water channel emerging from the corner and guiding effectively along the line of pillars. I like the reflections, which lengthen deeper into the scene and are improved by the rippling surface patterns.

The only time I remember ruins touching water, like this was at the south of Kos, where the ruins are right on the beach.

    Have a good day,
    Bev :-)

This is a very recognisable face but one that has been artistically empowered to attract attention in a cheerful way. What a great face to choose for this objective of joining rather than dividing people.
I can imagine it might stand as a welcome substitute to those people who do not have time to join the long queues to see Ann Frank's hiding place!
