    Hello Silvio,
You are probably not the first one to take a photo here, but it's a photo that you just not should miss. The view as such of the mountainside and the narrow valley is terrific, but the view of the road going zigzag on the hill is just amazing. It has a wonderful graphic effect.
    Kind regards,

It's a beautiful street and especially I like the view of the young couple walking hand in hand. The light and contrasts are very well handled.

    Hello Rob,
You found another fascinating installation/wall which is almost impossible to understand or evaluate until I see the WS2, which explains it all. I can understand your frustration that it's impossible to really capture in a photo the impact this corridor made on you. But at least I get a pretty good idea of it, and this photo especially is just so nice and interesting to watch, whatever it is I am looking at.
    Best regards,

    Hello Nicolas,
The narrow and low cloud looks fantastic in the morning light. It adds a remarkable element to the pretty view of the small village by the sea. Very well captured.

    Hello Denis,
This is a marvellous photo. There is a great view of the valley and villages and the rainbow is crossed by the jet of water in an amazing way. And last but not least there is a very eye-catching person walking across the nearest very green field. There is something to watch in every part of the photo.

    Hello Malgo,
The Buddha fruits are totally unknown to me, but I think everything else can nowadays be bought in Sweden, and probably in Poland too, but ridiculously expensive and not always of the best quality. Most of these fruits I saw for the first time in Indonesia in 1976. I saw, and tasted, my first mangoes in Pakistan in 1972. Nothing beats fruit stands for colour and usually human touch. I think I recognize the kind of ice-cream the girl is eating. I have actually planned a very similar photo as a workshop for my next upload ;-).
    Kind regards,
    Gert

    Hello Philippe,
This looks like a very nice area for a tour by canoe or rowing-boat. It looks so quiet and peaceful and the sky and trees are beautifully reflected. The colours and clarity of the photo are very appealing.

    Hello Chris,
The red blood stain certainly makes the monument much more realistic and symbolic, so I had to read your note carefully to find out whether it was part of the original design. Obviously it wasn't, so the artist missed an important point. Maybe the authorities agreed, so that is why they didn't remove it. Surely they could easily have cleaned it, even a few metres above the ground, if they really wanted. It's an interesting photo and very eye-catching too with these simple details and bright colours.
    Best regards,
    Gert

    Hello Daniel,
The title is correctly chosen. For a change you didn't try to avoid showing people, but it's fairly impossible to avoid them in this place. They do bring a lot of life and some funny details to the photo. Fortunately there is also a great building in the background. Approaching 900 years old, that's impressive.

    Gert

This architecture looks quite interesting and as you say there are many fine reflections of the nearby buildings. The two persons are rather essential for measures and life, but if you had lowered the camera just a tiny little bit they would have kept their entire feet. ;-)

It's a good photo with a perfect exposure and a nice warm light. The fortress is just as impressive as it must have been in older days. But you should have told your wife to coincidentally take a rest on one of the benches. ;-)

    Hello Jean,
There is a lot of beach during the low tide for those who want to be a bit separated from the crowd, but a very long way to reach the water. With a weather like this it looks very inviting. It's a nice composition with green hills on both sides, and very attractive colours.

    Hello Bev,
I hope you had a good holiday. B&W is a perfect choice for a steam engine that basically belongs to the past. With so much black metal, grey smoke, an overcast sky and dark stones on the ground there couldn't have been so many colours to lose anyway. This is a beauty of old time engineering, and you show it from a good angle, but what a lot of pollution it causes!
    Kind regards,
    Gert

    Hello Piotr,
I watch this photo with pleasure and recognition. Thank you for the reference and link. Before I read your note I thought I would mention that I had been here, but you had done your research well. These huts look even stranger than the one I had shown, but the most stunning feature of this photo are the fantastic reflections of the clouds. They make the calm water look very pretty. With this photo you have come close to Albania and I expect you to cross the border soon, after maybe some more photos from Ulcinj.
    Kind regards,

    Hello Silvio,
It's an amazingly sharp photo from this dramatic scenery. The towers must have been magnificent long ago, and they still make a strong impression even today. They frame the view of the valley and the distant hills perfectly. Most impressive of all are maybe the beautifully shaped and very nicely processed clouds.

It's a nice view of the grey and possibly abandoned house at the edge of the forest. The rocks on the slope and in the foreground create an attractive pattern and the flowers behind the building provide beautiful colours. The photo is well exposed and nicely sharp.

The fish-eye has produced a drastic photo with a lot of distortions but you managed to include a lot of buildings one shot. The young man in the foreground seems to bring the entire view closer to us.
