    Hello Chris,

What a great idea to include these flower gardens in your f/g. The bright colours set a happy mood and they link so well via the colourful figures, to the domes and the minarets.
The photograph is very well exposed so the details are nice and sharp ... there are no disappointing areas.

    My warm regards,
    Bev :-)

    Hello Roberto,

The little red brick church is so understated, compared with the other, more ornate buildings. It is so very different in shape from other early churches, seeming to follow the round style of castle turrets.
You have done well to capture so much in one photograph, with details that are interesting and accessible.
The cobbled path makes a very useful lead line.

    My warm regards,
    Bev :-)

    Hello Costantino,
There are terrific colours in this evening view. The red boat matches the tones of the clouds and their reflections perfectly. I also like that you cropped the photo so tightly, making us concentrate mainly on the magnificent colours.

    Hello Serghei,
These rocks are spectacularly shaped, not quite like anything else i have seen. Nature has also provided you with a fine POV from the same altitude which also provided a superb view of the surroundings.
Thank you for wasting a second smiley on that picture from Krakow.
    Kind regards,

    Hej Trevor,

    Hello Klaudio,
You have captured a fine, moody atmosphere in a painting-like photo where the grazing cows certainly play an important role. Obviously your chosen title and your thoughts about the values of words have created an interest. What does the Swedish word "dimma" sound like to you? Meteorologically fog at sea is referred to as "tjocka", meaning approximately "thickness". It's a word I never liked.
    Kind regards,
    Gert

    Hi Malgo,
View up the stairs gives this special and more dynamic than usual angle. It is absolutely fascinating how rich decorations these classic palaces have. I also think the grey and gold colours are very harmonous.

    Hello Wolfgang,
This photo is very typical of city life today almost anywhere in the world. It's amusing in a way, but rather more shocking or just puzzling. I am afraid I will never be able to understand what makes it so important and necessary to fiddle about with the phones all the time, whether having dinner with friends, exercising, going to the toilet or walking down the street.
    Kind regards,
    Gert

    Hi Wolfgang,
It is an everyday view. But I think this time it goes to extreme as just everyone is very focused on the phone like hypnotised. And you have framed this well too with red and blue shirts on opposite sides.

Golden toned artificial light goes well with blue hour sky. Clouds also make the sky havig somewhat patchy light likewise those buildings. Pyramid of Louvre has iconic design which I've always admired.

    Hello Ourania,
This is a bit different, but it almost goes into your collection of reflections. At least this is getting pretty close to that kind of abstract composition. You have been playing around a bit with shapes, colours, light and the movement of the water. It's certainly a simple and unassuming composition but it has the kind of refined beauty that only nature can offer.
    Kind regards,
    Gert

Impressive close front view of the iconic Cadillac. And nicely decorated too for the marriage celebration. A bit lower angle would have hidden more efficiently the car behind.

    Hello Malgo,
These must be the most comfortable "benches" I have seen in any museum. I am impressed. The paintings are truly impressive too, and you have captured them the way they should be captured for a site like this: showing also the interest and excitement of the spectators. And when I see these photos I can only feel pity for the fools crowding in the Louvre to "see" the Mona Lisa (nobody sees anything). Here they can watch just as good paintings in peace and quiet.
    Kind regards,
    Gert

    Hi Juan,
While I'm not a fan of partially desaturated pictures, otherwise this is pretty much a kind of picture I'd like to take myself. View across the bridge towards Big Ben and a big bus running surprisingly between lanes.
I think the New Routemaster bus is very stylish and will some day be as iconic as it's predecessors.

    Hello Nicolas,
This is an original composition and an attractive photo with good, mild colours. I like the priest's puzzled posture and the heaps of fruits lying on the road. I also like the curve of the road and how you have placed the priest near the upper corner. I think you must have reacted very quickly to this golden opportunity.

This is in every way a very good photo. The books make an interesting theme and are nice to watch, the man is a perfect leading actor and his relaxed posture makes him more interesting, the light is good and the diagonal composition is very attractive. This may be indoors but the photo has all the qualities of an excellent street-shot. Very well done,

    Hello Klaudio,

I love your play with words.
You are right fog is too brusque, though mist is a little better and with an adjective attached, could be even better.
I love how it affects the lack of clarity as you look deeper into the shot. There is always a sense of mystery, what is hiding in the depths!
The singular white cow is so well placed to give strength as a focal point.

    My warm regards,
    Bev :-)

    Hello Trevor,

I have to applaud your fine use of the f/g elements and the diagonal movement across the frame. You have given us excellent textural details and colours which are pleasing and natural.
Gunnar will love the fact that there are subtle reds which link the f/g and the b/g beautifully.
