    Hi Dale
you've got yourself a fine post card type of shot here my friend, and there's nothing to be ashamed about with that...i love post cards.

I remember being here and we got rained on, we had to run for cover in some adjacent building for about 30 min.

We never did get to go inside of the large castle, I was satisfied with just looking at it as we see it here.

pretty grande isn't it, interesting to see so few people around. nice shot

    Hi Carlo
I like the overall style and way the composed the scene with the tall walk on the right, it makes a great visual impact for sure.

and of course you can never go wrong with blue and yellow together.

nice to have the cloud coverage to cap it all off.

    Hi Jorge
I saw this one posted on your random gallery page, I just had to take a closer look at it.
the key to the photo are the two large vertical columns, and of course the dome with its details are great too.
I like the darkness surrounding the image too. nice work

    Hi John
I have nothing to complain about with this one, its classic all the way.

beautiful and very smart lighting/exposure, the details on the outside walls is fantastic.

I like how you composed the scene too, it has that post card style and look to that thats very attractive.
    well done

    Hi Erling
i've missed a few of your latest posts, i'm going to have to catch up. and yeah, isn't it funny how those colours often seem to match up as you mentioned when composing our scenes.

I like how the scene is full from side to side and up/down.
the shadows casted by the trees make an attractive appearance on the homes too.

So how does this work? take the yellow and red building for example...we see 4 levels to each building...does that mean there are 4 families living there? or perhaps its a business?? Just curious.

lovely shot from Bergen, whats not to like?

    Hi Kari
Singapore...never been here myself, perhaps one day.
yeah, I would agree with you, it does look pretty good today.
built in 1929 you'd think they would have made the bridge a little more in the Art Deco style, but then again this is a very conservative culture.
lovely light and colour reflections on the water surface, and I like that the bridge columns are staggered.

    Hi Rob
yup, I recognized these almost immediately!
its downtown Chicago right away :)

its fun to move the screen up and down very quickly to see the graphic nature of them even more.

and its fun too, to see the way people decorate and set up their patios. I wonder how much it is to live here! Expensive! fun shot, the final result is excellent.

    Hi Gy
gotta like this one, again its different from what we usually see from the gallery pages we see on TE.

for obvious reasons the moving train makes the shot, the sense of movement is great. Another key part is having the foot of the woman firmly planted on the ground...thats very cool.

    Hi Krzysztof
all I have to say is wow!
this is quite the town hall, it has to be the most sophisticated and elegant and Gothic that I have ever seen.
the sheer size of it is outstanding and quite overwhelming too. its an easy 10 out of 10 for me on this one!
    beauty!

    Hi Kik
I love lighthouses! So obviously I couldn't pass up on this shot in your gallery.

and to know its only 25 feet tall is pretty interesting too, when you think of a lighthouse you think of it being very tall, not short.

and the blue and white is a funky combination as well.
love the subject and view, looks great.

    Hi Serghei
Glad I read your note, I had no idea Liverpool had such a large African and Chinese community, guess we learn something new everyday.

you know why I like this scene, because its nice to see the exact city layout from an every day scene. This isn't a touristy type of photo, its a real life shot with locals.

    excellent shot from all sides.

    Hi Lars
I always enjoy your local scenes, the Netherlands is a country I've never been to, so there's alot to learn from where I stand.

Recently I watched on TV how these Mills work with the large corkscrew device - I forget the exact name of it right now, but its cool how they move the water UPstream.

the photo turned out really well considering the lighting isn't the best, the sky is a bit strong and blueish-white.
but still very attractive, your shot is well suited for a Calendar, and there's nothing wrong with that.
    see you around

    Hi John
we've seen many shots of this Cathedral but I gotta say I've never seen this pov before.

and man, you couldn't have chosen a better day, you certainly got lucky here didn't you! looks to be an almost summery day.

and to be honest, I've never seen a photo of the dome so close up before, same goes for the columns.
this is almost like a backdoor alley shot, something totally out of the norm.

its well lit from front to back, nothing to complain about there. Too bad the lighting at this exact precise moment was a bit off, but what can you honestly do about that?
    looks great John, sweet shot

    Hi Will
hmm...if I had to pick either of these two bikes to ride, I think I'd ask for a third choice haha

gotta say though, the illuminated bike is pretty cool in the nighttime.

something different for us to view on TE, and whats wrong with that? fun shot.

    PS
I wouldn't worry about the infra red thing because I don't think anyone cares! I bet I could write a note full of Fbombs and swear words, and the owners of the site would just pass it on by. The only people who care about TE are us the members. Lets hope TE finds a way to turn it around.
