    Hi John
this is 1935 meeting up with 2015....see the Subway sign in the bg, i'm surprised its not a McDonalds!

my first impressions of this scene were...how on earth did you get it to be so sharp and clear? Must be those Surgeon hands of yours :)

at only 1/25, this is very crisp and clear my friend, very impressed indeed.
and I like the overall purple haze, especially when you look at it from afar, or in the smaller gallery page.

glad you posted this one, its quite unique.
    Hope you're enjoying your weekend
    Cheers

    Hi Angel
I wish we could see a little bit more of that green building on the left :)
But you wanted to also capture the man inside the picture so i understand.
lots of charm and history here once again.
and the falling composition of the buildings into the bg is quite nice too.
    fun shot

    Hi Silvio
so how do you get all these butterfly photos?
because everytime I try to photograph them they fly away on me :)
I don't think i've ever seen one with this color combination before, the orange and blue is quite striking indeed.
excellent work in allowing for the bg to be blurred out.

    Hi Lars
thats strange, I don't recall seeing this bridge on TE before, or at least not for a long time.
I like the name they gave it, Big Mac, seems to suit it just fine.

excellent pov from this angle, we get an excellent sense of just how much it raises up and down.
    cool shot

    Hi Ricardo
well, i can honestly say that i've never seen this sculpture before. and its great how they made it exactly to her size! Sometimes these statues are 20 feet tall and quite rediculous.

good framing with the shadows and woodwork, and the various tones of blue are sweet too
    nice shot

    Hi JJ
we don't see these color combinations very often do we.
its a pale blue sky color mixed with pinks and greens.
you could have even just posted the photo with one set of windows and it still would have been just as attractive. sweet shot, a summer themed shot.

    Hi Josep
wonderful to see new photos from you once again! Its been a while right? Or have I missed some?

so you were recently in London, thats nice, did you visit any other cities or countries?

I see you had a typical gloomy weather day in London too :)
well, its a nice shot of the Eye, its an angle that we don't often get to see, from the water.

I also like that its cut in the frame, with the centre spoke still showing. fun shot

    Now THAT's a red door!
the best part has to the #54 on it, thats awesome.
and as for the grafitt, this is more grafitti than Art.

I enjoy the large murals and such, but not this.
too bad its in this condition.
If they repaint it, it will marked again shortly after.

this scene packs a strong punch!

this is certainly a wow type of subject and view for me!

you couldn't have picked a better spot to get a view of the city.

it almost has a story-book feel and look to it.
another spectacular view from France, its never ending.
Just too bad the sky is a bit overblown, but those were the conditions at the time.

super shot, I wish it were in my gallery :)

    Hi Chris
as a lover of architecture, i never understand why people complain of such buildings. If it were too boring then they'd complain its TOO BORING, so no matter what you do you can't win.

May as well do outside the box and create something with creativity and style. Personally i love it.
strange...yes...but at least give them bonus points and bravery for trying something new.

very unique building, and i'd love to get inside that abandoned Cathedral on the left too.
excellent post, you surely opened my eyes here

the glimmer and shine of the materials is something we just don't see very often, if ever.
