    Hi Emmanuel
    haha..love this subject.
I've never seen it in person before, but I vow to at some point during my travels.

I like how you've made it look like it's zooming up into the heavens. and the side building in silver blue is neat too.

    nice shot

    Hi Rosemary
    wonderful post.
this is one of those photos where it just goes to show how important notes are. This note has so much info.

and it makes me appreciate the photo that much more as well.

love the look the dog is giving you, and the pose of the man.

interesting reading your communications with Gert too.

    Hi Angel
    now thats a building! wow!

i don't think i've ever seen a building painted in this baby bright blue before, especially with the brown trim and purple flowers.
    what a scene this is.

    really caught my attention.

    Hi Jose
sometimes the smallest of subjects make all the difference.

the older lady in the blue dress with the cane is the star of the show, at least in my opinion anyways :)

take away the lady and it just wouldn't have the same sort of impact.

    excellent shot

    Hi Malgo
easy to see why people have been enjoying this one.

first of all, the architecture stands out simply on its own.
the golds contrast so well with all those whites.

and the exposure is spot on too, very attractive shot overall.
    enjoy your weekend

i'm glad you added in the info in your note, it makes the photo and overall story/news that much more powerful.

Love the title Maintain the Rage, its perfect.

    Hi Serghei
I guess when I think of Cacti I don't really think of Turkey! I tend to think of the American Desert, or similar like places.

I like how you placed the catci on the far right, leaving the landscape to be viewed in the remaining portions of the frame.

I wouldn't want to get lost in this terrain! Yikes!
awesome collection of greens and plantlife.

perhaps its best that their backs are turned against you, maybe they wouldn't have been happy being photographed.

    Hi Jason
    welcome to the twilight zone!
where when you walk you walk into new dimensions of color!

now, if you had a secondary photo that PROVES the woman's shirt was Blue seconds before...then you'd be onto something special! haha

this is actually a pretty cool shot.
love the 4 large windows spread evenly, love the stark contrasts of the horizontal brown wood on the left vs the bright red vertically stacked wood on the right.

most people would not see much potential in this scene, but you got it.

and as for the #46...well, anytime you can include a large number sign like that you go for it.

its a cool crop, well spotted.

oh, its so important to have that streak of golds and yellows to break up the whites and blues.

it really does make it a striking image that way.

    Hi Christiane
this is one of those photos where everything is layered horizontally, and its streaking across the screen on a bit of a diagonal too.

its easy to make out the horizontal layers of lines.

and having the people spread out a bit makes our eyes dart from left to right.

    a fun family oriented scene.

    Hi Pavle
i'm surprised you can catch such a variety of fish in this river! that's quite alot.

for some reason this river reminds me of scenes from Florida and its everglades.

the blue wooden boat gives a splash of color to break up the greens and browns. i like it alot, nice post

a great historic lesson about NYC and Queens, very cool indeed.

Too bad the location is being changed into condos, i think nyc has enough of those haha

and i would never have thought this was actually 1 wall, it doesn't look that way at all.

    yes, we certainly miss Juan's photo's don't we! I know I do.

you show us a keen eye to highlight these parts of the building.
the black and silver mix well with the blue sky.
but its the light which makes the photo stand out the most...for example, the light on the inside areas of the structure illuminating the black areas - they're fantastic.

    Hi Gert
I have to agree with Jason on this one...my first impressions were of the Old Wild West as well...perhaphs its the 'north american' in us :)

and as usual for me, the first thing than attracts my attention is the building on the right. very plain and simple for sure, help up by what seems to be very skinny posts, and if you look carefully the windows are totally off center to eachother...not the best craftsmanship! but it makes due i suppose.

fine title for this scene, suits it perfectly indeed.
just curious...what would the temperature be like here in May, thats when you took the photo.
looks quite dry and arrid of a climate.

great shot once again, lots to investigate
