    Bonjour Christine,

Contente de te voir ici... Bonne idée d'utiliser le bouton FB.
J'aime le cadrage serré sur les ouvertures de la maison et l'ocre typique de nos régions du sud.
    "Pas mal" du tout! :o)

    Hi Frank,

As a mod I had to open the thumbnail of course... ;)
But your note explain very well what we see and I must recognize that this is a very interesting photo. Two in One, very lovely and a great observation, your eyes did the job!

    Thank you and greetings,

    Hallo Monique,

    Welkom op TrekEarth!
Great composition of a very atmosferic and moody photo, just the way we can imagine Finland when we haven't visit it yet. It looks like I can hear Sibelius... :)

    Hi Klaudio,

The thumbnail was asking to be opened. It could be a lovely piece of Japanese silk or an aquarelle... But that refreshing and peaceful view on the pond of a tea house gives the same relaxing sensation. All is in the well chosen framing I think. I will enjoy for a moment...
    Thank you for sharing!

    Hi George,

Your photos are very interesting but you absolutely must write a more sufficient note. Otherwise they will be removed from the gallery and it would be a pity...

    Friendly greetings,

    Hello Ray,

Your latest B&W photos were rather intriguing from the thumbnails, with a quite strong contrast it looked a bit like a moonlandscape...
After opening them I think it is a very interesting serie on the Utah State, making me wanting to know more...
I think I will follow you for a while on your trip... :)

    Hello Michel,

    This a very beautiful portrait!

    Hi Brian,

The thumbnail was intriguing enough to let me open it...
Glad I did because I just love that atmosphere. It is the kind of skies we had so many time in Scotland and in Scandinavia and I always think it is stunning, clouds and sun, light and darkness, on that lonely beach...
Thank you, it is really a lovely photo!

    Hi Sayeed,

In answer to your reply I wandered that doorway out, trying to escape... Suddenly I saw the cat and my hands shook a little bit. Yours too. I think everybody would fear the Jinns when lost in the labyrinth of Fes...
I really admire the way you write English and you are a true storyteller! Here again the note and the photo are very complementary and made it worth visiting further your gallery, thank you!

    Hi Silvio,

I love the spectacular colours! Nice idea to include the photographer on the right place in the composition. The only point which I think is disturbing is that little green part in the left upper corner, I wish you had framed tighter...

    Hello Sayeed,

What amazed me most here is how your note brought me in the atmosphere of Fes. Suddenly I felt lost too, entering your image, looking down in this small doorway... Really weird sensation!
There are many who think notes are not needed but I simply loved this one, thank you for that moment.

    Hi Daniel,

I think this is a quite impressive photo, all the blue tones from the water, from the sky and the clouds, and also from the dusk give a very enigmatic and rather cold atmosphere but the vapors remind us of all the hot power in the soils... And of course that golden light from the greenhouse makes that photo very attractive.
Definitely a photo which makes me wanting to know more about Iceland, thank you for sharing...

    Hi Paul,

I think indeed you must be there to fully appreciate this view. I guess that geological phenomena is due to the volcanic eruptions in that particular region. It made me remember of the (mostly vertical) basaltic columns and formations we can find in the Auvergne region in France and (vertical formation) The Giants'Cause in Ireland. For a moment you can imagine the hot lava solidifying in the sea...

Very nice photo giving a good idea of what you can expect. A great postcard I would say and definitely a postcard I would buy if I was there... ;)

Excellent note! I like the way you explained WHY you took the photo and it makes a difference at the way we are looking at it...
Your framing is nicely tight around the group involved and I like the Summer feeling, glass of rosé, parasol, warm yellow background AND her smile! :)

    Hi Takero,

It is such a lovely image but please add a sufficient note about the subject here, the iris. If not it would be a common object w/o suitable note and would be removed for the same reason as earlier close shots of common object have been removed.

    Hi Christina,

A perfect composition mostly due to a perfect point of view. I would have liked a bit softer contrast but it works though... Also a pity of the pair of legs at the left up corner, could you have cropped them w/o losing the balance?

Anyway I had to open the thumbnail and I am glad I did... Very nice.
