    Hi Pavle
red/orange rooftops are very popular in Europe! haha
along the bottom, are they garages for each single home?

I like the rustic views we see, it has a strong atmosphere to it which is quite rugged. lets hope for good spring weather :) cheers

    Hi Ike
as i'm scanning your gallery page I realized i missed this one. I'll have to take a look at that link to understand this wall better. Very cool, i just read the link, it gives a better understanding of whats going on here.

i like how they used local stone, this is a piece of art in my opinion, and it looks fantastic. something unique and it has strong local ties to it. cheers

    Hi Daniel
what can I say? this is just pretty darn cool.
I wonder how much maintenance is needed to keep the gardens looking like this haha

Also, does it change colour alot during peek autumn months?
It could also look very pretty in winter with lots of snow.
the tight cropping and framing work very well here, its smart to keep the sky out. cheers

    Hi Krzysztof
love this one, infact I think its one of your best :)
there's something about that colour contrast between the blue sky and red rooftops and beige exterior wall. Also, i like the trees and how they dont' have leaves on them yet. very attractive lighting too. cheers

    Hi Ney
oh yes, I remember this place very well :)
Its hard to photograph because its a very small square and its hard to fit the tall skinny building inside the frame - at least thats how I felt. but you've succeeded very well here, and i really like the couple sitting on that bench - they add alot to the overall look and atmosphere. lovely colours and rich tones. beauty! cheers

    Hi Malgo
impossible to show a good angle of the facade - perhaps you need a drone! haha :)

this place is incredible! so much artwork on the exterior walls, and look closely at the rooftop on the left with its patterns and designs.

are you able to climb up to the top for city views?
the blue sky gives us the perfect colour contrast for the red.

    PS
I'll be visiting Portugal in April-May for 2 weeks :)

    Hi Jean
if we look closely we can see some of that tacky 1960's style architecture in the far bg that Miami is famous for :)

personally, I'm not a fan of all those pinks and oranges for this guarde station, but I suppose it works to draw attention right? looks warm and sunny! this is Miami! thanks for this one. cheers

i missed this one. this certainly has the abandoned look and feel to it that I enjoy. love the vines growing up and around, and how it looks unattended for a few years. the brown gate is a fine feature as well, as is the cross up top. effective UP pov on this one. cheers

my goodness, how have times changed right? look at all the locals and tourists here. This wouldn't have happened a few years ago. Funny how cities can change like that. its a positive story moving forward.

personally, I still can't make up my mind if I love or hate these sculptures, but it doesn't really matter, its just great to see the people enjoying them without fear of getting shot haha

your tight framing works well, lots of activity and brightness. cool post. cheers

I can't resist scenes like this! I'm drawn to them each and every time. glad to hear it was re-built, but it certainly took a long long time. love the view you have here, we can see all the red/orange rooftops clearly. The blue sky works well too. nice shot. cheers

    Hi Bev
yes, I would have to agree thats one heck of a monument/sculpture isn't it!

even though the top portion is suppose to be the focal point, the middle portions are equally impressive. and like you mentioned, too bad the lighting was poor, but what can you do? good to have the WS to show the cute little weird cable car.

this is one of the best monuments i've ever seen, very impressive. cheers

so they've just left it like this for all these years? wow!
This would never happen in Canada.

and on the smaller orange building, are those gun fire shells and holes on the exterior wall?

whats going on here, let me read the note.
    Very interesting, and great workmanship.
Funny how the ceiling fan seems SO out of place haha, i'm sure the original painters would be so angry to see it hanging there today haha

I'm surprised this photo was taken only a few days ago, I hope spring weather is arriving soon!

    Ho Boa
Madagascar! Isn't this one of the poorest countries in the world? I think it is right? and its often on the list of countries NOT to visit by tourists.

and yes, the shadow and lighting is a bit of a problem here, but not major - we can still make everything out quite easily.

interesting cultural info about the paint and advertising.
I wonder how the life conditions are for these guys. We don't see many shots from this country...hope to see more.
    awesome TE post. cheers
