    Hi Alexandre
you can't beat a subject like this one.
we don't see many like this here on TE so it easily puts a smile on my face.

I really like the rustic look of the photo with the overcast conditions, steam and fog rolling in.
all it does is make the steam train stand out even more.
excellent choice they made with the reds and blacks too.
    cool post

    Hi Brenda
we can always count on you to show us whats new in NYC.

I think it won't take long before everyone refers to this new hub as the ZIPPER! Love it!

looking at the ws photo, there seems to be some brown disscoloration already forming on the white sections of the structure...whats with that! Its the kind of thing you see that forms in your shower if you don't clean it lol

as for the main photo here, it took my brain some time to formulate what the heck was going on! but it all clicked in soon enough. Personally, i quite like the zipper, it could also resemble a Whale's Fin - don't you think?

    thanks for the update!
    cheers

    Hi Chris
I picked this photo from your gallery because the blue colors in those waters jumped off the screen, more so than the other recent pics.

Oh to be rich enough to own a Yacht! Not having to worry about the cost and expenses that go along with it.

gotta love those blues again, mother nature at her best

    Hi Andre
its hard to pick just one of these photos as each has its good points!

I'll choose this one because its your newest.
These botanical gardens often produce wonderful photo opps.

I like the large light fixture, it seems so out of place yet it works well to create something different and unique.
and of course the beautiful woman walking by works well too!

good eye to spot this one.
Such a strange place to put a sculpture, but I guess it works!
and it would be interesting to see it in the evening with the lights working.

always a pleasure to see the classic Italian window shutters and colors too.

wow! what a winter scene you've captured here my friend!
you may have had bad weather, and you couldn't get out of your hotel room, but look at the photo you got from the BUS!!!!

wow, this place looks magical. Love how the mountain top looks far off into the distance like that.

splendid clouds and sky as well. Wonderful photo in these conditions.

    Hi Frank
its always fun to see the classic post card shots of famous cities, but its even better when you step outside of those areas - as you have done here.

I feel like you've gotten down and dirty to get this one haha

it has a real Industrial type of look and feel to it.
interesting history, and obviously no need to build horse carriages anymore!

Personally, i hated shooting into direct sunlight, but thats just me. I know Noel from Ireland enjoys it as well.
good result though in this backstreets type of area.

    Hi Russ
Really atmospheric & a different perspective taken from an impressive ultra low vp that directs the route for the viewer's eye to follow naturally from bottom to top exploring every inch with the vibrant red shoes as strong baseline for the composition. Your focus is certainly fine and the dynamic tilt works very well and you've got this guy truly into his tune playing his heart out! A shot that conveys concentration plus action with superb hand coordination. You've succeeded very well, brill lens work,, Congrats
    Best wishes

Wow, this is just wonderful. I love these types of subject, nothing gets near them for me. Nothing manmade that is. I love the rich golden tones, the clarity and the note. Any idea how old these babies are? Absolutely fascinating, thanks for sharing.

Warmest wishes to you and yours

PS; Thanks for your well-wishes for the family. Mum and Dad are ok, but just getting old. As Dad says, "I'm ok, but I'm not beautiful any more". Typical Italian hehehehe.

Again the colours are incandescent and the way you managed the light is truly impressive. The castle looks quite tiny by European standards, but it is no less beautiful. The yellow and deep green colours are a feast for the eyes.

    Gidday dear Will

Thank you so much for the present! What a beauty it is too, one that even Charles Darwin I'm sure would be enchanted with. The panorama is perfect for demonstrating the sheer size of the Valley and of course how unspoilt it is. Fingers crossed, it remains so. At the moment, there are companies wanting the frack national forest nearby for Coal Seam Gas. It makes me so angry I could cry.

Warmest wishes and thanks for the photie.

Ahhh now you're just showing off! This is magnificent, how did you get these magnificent birds to pose like this for you? Don't tell me you've turned your hand to kite-whispering now? A superb and natural dance of nature, impressive shutter control (had to be careful how I typed that) and wonderful vivid colour. An image that would knock the socks off the stuffed shirts in the camera club.
