Hi Leslie, this is a very dramatic photo. The horse itself is an exotic animal. The clouds and the sun rays added so much to the photo. Very well done!

Hi Daniel, this is very beautiful photo. Both the water and the land looked so smooth. It's such a simple photo, but with very eye catching. The clouds completed the whole scene where it becomes three layers: white, black and then white. Well done.

    Hi Gosia,

This is such a spectacular photo. Very well lighted. With the inclusion of the people there, you add a sense of living in the beautiful, civilized world. The subtle cloud colors also added another element to the photo. Very well done.

    Hi Pierre,
Interesting that you should post this photo now. I work in the building next door to this, in Brisbane. The building in this photo is the former court house, and is currently in the process of being demolished. It is fenced and covered in scaffolding, with workers dismantling the concrete with a demolition crane and heavy machinery. A new court complex has been built further down the street. In a few weeks the building in your photo will be completely removed. Three towers, one over eighty floors tall will be built on this site over the coming years. Thanks for the historic photo of a site which is soon to look drastically different.

    Hi Chris,

Great classic photo of the Hagia Sophia, I didn't get inside but was able to tour the Blue Mosque. Both are such imposing and ornate buildings. I admire their clever lines and curves, more so then other gaudy architecture (some shires and temples in other parts of the world) I find that these middle eastern designs get the aesthetic balance right. I really enjoyed Istanbul and will return there for more. I hope life is good in Turkey.

    Hi Malgorzata,

Lovely photo of far North Queensland. I am glad you made it to this region, and hopefully onto the reef for a snorkel or a dive. I went here again last year, it is so beautiful and scenic. In the wet season the volume of water here is huge, covering most of this cliff face. It's a great day trip to ride the train and skyrail. Well done, a great visit. Did you see the butterflies in Kuranda?

    Hi Eric,

A good skyline photo of Brisbane. Ten years ago the white tower with the black stripes (Central Plaza) was the tallest building, many have passed it now. A beautiful blue sky really does well to serve as a backdrop to the shard like buildings. Great use of telephoto zoom.

    Hi Malgorzata,

Glad to see you had a few encounters with Brisbane. A great, bold image here of one of the new big buildings, the Infinity Tower. I hope you enjoyed your time in the city and Australia in general and that the weather was good for you. It seems like you visited many iconic and diverse places on your trip. A great photo!

    Hi Barbara,

A colourful image of this Polish skyline. I like in particular the green and reds of the buildings below. The imposing tower is eye catching and iconic to the area I am sure. They are building a similar one where I live. I want to see more of Poland, a visit for a few days was not at all enough. All the best.

    Hello Seyed,

A bold landscape here is taken from a wonderful vantage point. The sky is full of life and colour. I like the variety in the green colour spectrum and the river which helps bring the image together. The bridge is a good iconic centrepiece to the photo. Excellent photo.

I like the stark beauty of this composition. The lone tree is quite a symbol of isolation. The old fence provides a good foreground. Simple, sharp and clear image with a good level of impact.

Wow, a riot of colour and life! The road is very well placed in my opinion. I like the scattering of leaves, the play of light and shadow and the vertical lines provided by the many tree trunks. The sharpness and quality is excellent, a fine production! All the best Michel,

Superb natural setting. The glassy blue reflection is delightful. Nice to see the sheep drinking in the still rural air. Such a welcome image to any city dweller. A fine and rewarding image.
