It is an interesting departure from the stereotypes of New York - as if it were frozen in time with the Empire State Building, Chrysler Building etc, but nothing new.
Nice splashes of colour in the reflection and the man at the bottom of the frame.
    Have a nice weekend

    Hi Craig
Fabulous viewpoint indeed, it looks like you're flying over the street, as you are right in the middle of it, so it's obvious you are not shooting from a window.
Interesting architecture, especially this bridge, it reminds me a bit of Venice and the bridge of sighs.
    Best wishes

    Hi Abmdsudi
Masterful street photography, a moment captured but you still remembered about composition. I like the off-centre placement of the main subject with another out of focus face in the background.
Interesting expression indeed. Was she annoyed? Or was she curious? There is definitely a story there.
    Best wishes

    Hola Luis,
I had the pleasure to visit this attractive castle as well but probably about 17 years ago in the pre digital times... I think I didn't take any photos at all at that time.
You have captured it from a great point of view from which the towers have nicely aligned from the highest to lowest. I like very much this stylish type of architecture.
    Beautiful spot, excellent presentation!

    Hi Chris,
great composition with the boat being certainly attracting the most attention and the entrance to the water in the foreground. Having seen these little stairs in front of you here feels quite inviting to get in. Great blue sky and its reflection.
    Charming scene, very well spotted,

    Hi Bev..again :)
and here we see the color version, and from the opposite end of things.

fun reference to Thomas the Tank haha.
the train looks very sleek and new here, its got that shine and shimmer to it. even reflecting other subjects off of it.
Sounds like you had lots of fun, I can feel it.

    Hi Bev,
to be honest I always prefer color :)
But what I particularly like in this view is the incredible clarity of the reflections on the train. It feels as if it was polished a second ago.
Nice composition with the steam this time going opposite direction.
Trains are quite photogenic, aren't they.
    Very well done!!

I'm sure John would enjoy this photo and subject :)

    Hi Pavle,
very charming Orthodox church. I like in particular the yellow red stripes which make the church very eye catching especially when photographed in a great sunlight with blue sky as a background. Quite a unique style.

    Hi Chris
good use of post processing to bring this photo to life.
perhaps this part of the world doesn't get much in the way of cyclones, they DO tend to be in certain regions more so than others.

more from the Faroe Islands, love it.
I like that you added in a hint of blue sky at the very top portions, just to change it up a bit. the rocky beach is a good lead-in, and the curve gives a sense of depth. love the overall atmosphere. fun post. cheers

    Hi Lars
I never get tired of these scenes. its always fun to see London's older side too, as much as I like the modern sides :)

perhaps not the best of lighting conditions, the light is a bit dull, but that also gives it a unique atmosphere for you, nothing wrong with that. my favorite part is the dome on the left, we can see all the textures of it. well composed for us visually. cheers

    Hi Stephen
I like this shot because for people like you and I who use extreme wide angle lens's, this is the perfect subject for it.
highlighting the long lines, the depth and full scale of the building, other lens's can't do this. fine post, good visual result. cheers

    Hi Claude
I chose this photo from your gallery because I don't like selfies and there are a few selfie shots in your latest posts.
I think i've taken only a few selfies in ALL of my travels, maybe not even that many. but its so popular for most people, not me though.

for this scene, it brings back so many childhood memories, we all did this as young boys :) Too bad about the car in the shot, but probably not much you could do. cheers

not everyone on TE enjoys these distortion type of city shots, but you know I do! and the upwards pov helps alot as well.
