Zdravo Aleksandar.Mnogo me se svidjala Slovenia. Narod, priroda, postupak, arhitectura, hrana, sve mi je dalo utisak da nisam u djelu bivse Juge, nego u sasvim drugom mjestu.Pedantan narod i kreativan. Sto me iznenadilo i to nisam uopce ocekivao, u nekim malim kafanama na zidu vijila je slika Tita. Pozdrav. Klaudio.

Hi Ann. A special scene which dramatically combines white with grey and black. And then there are bright touches of red, yellow and blue.Excellent details still clear on this dreary day. Regards. Klaudio.

When I was there only a few people were at work, like here. The group I was with made a big deal about the smell, especially some Belgians. But growing up in the Balkans where donkeys, sheep, goats, horses, fowl etc shared one's backyard, I didn't need to stick a sprig of mint under my nose as all the rest were doing with exaggerated antics. Still, one feels for those men down there and I wonder how much they get paid for their labours in all that pigeon poo. Regards. Klaudio.

I missed this one for some reason. Great shot of this handsome young musician. if you liked this type of music and haven't heard of Tinariwen, the Tuareg "blues" band,I urge you to track it down. You were fortunate to be invited into his home. Salam. Klaudio.

Salam Sayeed. Different take on what is now just a tourist ride. The photo reminds me of those journeys I read about when salt was transported across deserts, of the endless dunes, the burning sun, the sandstorms.A photo that fires the imagination. best wishes. Klaudio.

Hi Gert. It's the time machine that certain TE members own which makes the gallery exciting and unpredictable as well as instructive. I like examining the expressions, each different and particularly the that of the far gentleman on the left. it looks as if the repast is finished and they are facing the usual problem of who is going to have the last kebab. Hi Abmdsudi
I see you shot this one at 180mm focal length, good idea I suppose, as you don't want to get in her face and get her mad :)

the choice of cropping is effective too, it immediately does away with any annoying subject off to the sides or around her.
we can just sit here and enjoy the face as is.

and you're right, she does appear to be in a very focused thought.

well captured as usual my friend
    cheers

    Hi Luis
great piece of historic architecture here!
How does France and Germany keep coming up with all these wonderful homes!

even the little house on the far left tucked away in the corner is cute and charming...everything is here.

I think they do a fine job in keeping the buildings restored.

excellent post, a place i've never heard of before.
    attractive colors and light.
    enjoy your day

    Hi Nicolas
you have 7 large triangles here that move across the frame, making the scene appear larger, and it effectively takes up all the space inside the frame.

excellent lighting conditions and overall exposure too.
    especially on the window shutters.
love the brown hue and tone to the entire scene.
    enjoy your day

    Hi Piotr
a photo with great looking intersecting diagonal lines.
the sloping tree line cuts into the grey sky quite nicely.

and all those clouds give off a sweet atmospheric mood.

looks like there could big mosquitos here! haha
    fine nature/hiking shot

    Hi Robert
I've never been to Maine, but living and growing up in Newfoundland half of my life I would imagine its quite similar.

as with Newfoundland, there's lots of fog!
and despite the fog the rocks in the fg are very clear and well defined.

love the rustic east coast motif that shines through on this one.

    Hi Angel
    such fine architectural delights!
lots of small finer details that catch my eye.

i have to wonder though, why do all the windows have bars on them? is it not safe here? alot of vandalism here?

at least the bared window on the left has some decorative motif to it to make it more attractive.

love the arch and the wooden doors.
    great scene in warm light

    Hi Ike
another interesting place to examine from Israel.
Can easily say i've never seen or heard of this place before.

looking at it now, i wonder is it a popular beach? there does seem to be some beachy sand over there near the fort.
and there are plenty of cars parked around, so are people walking along the beach front?

its amazing to think that fort was built so many hundreds of years ago, and pieces of it are still standing.

lots to examine and investigate with this one.
    cheers

    Hi Carlo
too bad the leaves are in the fg, but I can still see past and through them, so thats ok.

this abandoned building doesn't seem to have a way inside!
    thats a shame :)

and it looks like the weeds and trees have totally taken over, which of course is why we see them in the fg.
fun shot, really like it. and you have some very warm bright light too.

    Hi Denis
I enjoy all of your boat/marina photos - in fact i think you have the best collection of boats on TE!!!

its funny to see that every boat is white except for 1 blue and 1 yellow :)

having the boats spread out like this gives a great sense of depth to the scene.
lovely exposure and compo as always.
