    Hi Ike
yup, i'll never get tired of this view! I was here twice during our stay, each time well worth it. I flew my drone right over the Castle :) :) SO MUCH FUN!

loving the colors, especially that rusty orange. and the lead in of the stone bridge is always a nice way to start the scene. awesome subject, awesome pov from down here.

    Hi Bev
and once again the Beta version really shows how wonderful this scene is. the way all the subjects meander and snake across the frame is a key point in my books. so much depth, so much details, and the bright yellow is fighting all the others to be the focal point. and it proves once again how photos taken before and after storms usually have awesome lighting. well shot. cheers

    Hi Benny
who on earth does this photo only have 10 pts, now 12 with my addition. thats far far too low of a number.

this is a geometric delight! so much is going on inside the frame, as if i'm looking inside the mechanical pieces of a clock.

very cool, very futuristic look and feel to it.
love the orange lights and orange patterns. wonderful

    Hi Gert
well, I have to say, thats one pretty damn powerful mural.
and i like it too. thats one i'll soon not forget. which i'm sure would appease the artist.

interesting too, how its painted on such an ugly building, one with no architectural merit or creativity.

really like the WS photos as well, clearly some of the wall is still standing. a fine balcony shot with strong historical importance with the bridge span. excellent TE post. cheers

I'm not so sure if women are jealous of this being called a manhole cover! I'm betting they're ok with it haha

glad you placed it off centre to the right, and not dead centre.

smart move to remove the cigs, here its looking very clean and new. Fun shot, I'm sure Erling will like it :)

    Hi Ana
great shot! You must be happy with the results on this one.
I know I would be. loving the blue/grey sky, or maybe it looks grey bc of the hint of grey in the dome in the lower portion. all i know is its very attractive and stands out so well. wonderful tones, shapes, geometry and architecture.
    smartly composed. cheers

    Hi Stephen,

Aside from the highly informative "nunesque note," what like here is the convergence of all the orthogonals at a single point on the horizon line (the clear vanishing point). These ancient streets remind me of a number of Spanish cities near Granada, but I imagine the melding of Moorish and Spanish architecture is a unique creation of its own.

    Regards,

    Bulent

how does a building so old still stand today? thats incredible. I'm sure its been remodeled and cared for, but still, thats amazing.

its a picturesque scene with the puffy clouds, blue skies, lively flowers in full colors, and of course the church itself is very photogenic. lovely shot! looks great. cheers

yes, that is very funny. sometimes we don't see people in our photos until after we take them :)

to me, this is a wonderful scene. its rustic and real. its got that industrial feel to it. love the trains just sitting there at the station. the long skinny patch of green grass adds alot too. I'm sure the couple would love to have this copy :) excellent compo and subject material.

    Hi Lars
this place has a real haunting look and feel to it.
I wonder how it is at night.
is it possible to go up that tower? It looks like there's a platform up there for viewing. wonderful scene with the trees and stream, and how the area seems to be protected and guarded. still looks scary though haha
