    Hello Sergio,
Yes, I remember this unusual sculpture in Zaragoza.
You were blessed with a pretty blue sky to provide the best background and to make a good contrast. I had a grey sky when I was there :(
    Best regards, Paul

    Hello Piotr,
You had a nice clear sky at your visit of Kazbegi.
Beautiful red illumination of the church and its belltower.
    Very attractively composed.

    Hello Carlo,
You present these houses with their facades in pretty soft tones in a wonderful strong contrast with the deep blue sky.
A very nice row of arcades.

    Hello Craig,
All three photos could have been posted as main picture. They show us very attractive ruins on a more than wonderful location.
The compositions are excellent and there's good depth. Of course the weather isn't what you like to have on a holiday but on the pictures that kind of sky is not unattractive.
My preference goes to the picture with the many flowers.
    Best regards, Paul

    Hi Piotr
I was about to shut off my laptop but then I noticed this photo and I had to take a closer look.
    fantastic shot.

love how the clouds dominate the upper portion of the frame, and how they also go in behind the Cathedral too.

the overall tones and hues are very attractive, excellent exposure all the way through. top notch
    cheers

    Hi Ourania
as Gert mentioned, the lady actually looks to be completely nude, but when you look closer we can clearly see thats not the case. My mind is playing tricks on me haha.

looking at this scene, its easy to come up with many different stories as to why she's standing staring at the boat. Perhaps she waiting to get picked up, perhaps she was thrown overboard! its fun to put the stories together.
excellent shot, its probably better in Monochrome because of the lighting and exposure conditions, smart choice
    cheers

    Hi Dale
yup, this is pretty much how I remembered it :)
we can get a sense of the harsh landscapes with the mountains in the bg, and we also get a sense of the unpredictable weather patterns that come and go here. a real and true visual description of the area.

    Hi Kik
too bad the lighting wasn't behind you instead of infront of you, that sucks, but what can you do right? All you can do is come back here at a different time of day i guess.
but even still, the front of the Castle has alot of illumination to it and the fg elements add to the scene in a very positive way too. Wish I could see this place in person some day. Nice shot
    cheers

    Hi Mariusz
going back to a site you visited with TE members, thats kind of cool, and now you have your family with you too.
Guess it was good to go on that meeting wasn't it!
oh man, when I see those Clouds, i am very jealous, I wish we could have that sky in all of our shots right?
this is a real shot, not much in the way of photoshopping, the colors are real and true. effective UPwards pov, its very attractive to the eye

did you take this photo while on the boat tour of the harbour? thats what we did, i liked it alot.

    Hi Serge
its always great to see these shots of old town Quebec, there are not very many places in Canada which have a European feel, but this is one of them.

lovely building on the right, I wish they put more colorful window shades on though :)
    great shot in this light

    Hi Bill
for some reason i was thinking this photo was going to be from Down south in the States, not from here!

do the flood waters really reach that high up? must be a very peaceful place to be and to relax. we don't usually see these types of places on TE, so this is a welcome sight.

there sure is alot of this graffiti isn't there!
here we get a good sense of the wall they use because of the angle you shot it at. again, I have no idea what the message is they're trying to voice, but thats part of the fun i guess.

haha...so we finally get to see you huh?
in the reflected image we can see the type of stone in the walls, and its very rugged looking isn't it, I like that.

you're capturing bird shots now? haha
To be completely honest, I wasn't thinking there would be much interest for me with this one...but when I look at it more closely, i can see how sharp and clear the bird is while in flight...well done.

    Hi Gert
hmm...looking at those homes or buildings, I presume people ar living there? I wonder how they look on the inside?
and again, would I be wrong in assuming the conditions are harsh? maybe they're not so bad who knows. I just wonder about such things thats all.

on the hills off into the distance, you can see the horizontal lines sloping across them, I take it thats from farming?

another interesting and informative history post from you, always enjoyable
