    Hi Roger,

How funny this distinguished looking fellow. looks like taken from the old movie. I saw the old steam train in Durango, going to Silvertown. we would like to go by it but was rather expensive, so we just went along the line line by car. it was fun.

    Have a nice Sunday.

    Hello Noel,
I can feel the agony from the look on this person's face. It seems so real. Your presentation is wonderful; I like that you placed part of the figure on the far right, and allowed us a blurred view of the buildings in the background on the left. There is a lot of emotion in this scene.

    Hello Costantino,
Nice boats and very beautiful light. I love the reflections of the masts coming together at the lower end of the photo, just by the red buoy which makes a fine foreground. It's a well composed photo with a good shape.

    Hello Malgo,
A very interesting building, somewhat surrealistic. Which part grew out of which? Somebody had a great sense of humour. This is the kind of surprise I enjoy when I go strolling in an unknown city. (The surprises don't always have to happen in the street.) It's a nice photo too, with fine clarity and colours.
    Best regards,

    Hello Ann,
Human activities usually benefit a photo and these two persons were also properly dressed to match the colours of the sea. The two large rocks indicate a diagonal which the father and his son are roughly following while walking towards the opposing diagonals of the waves. Your photo has a good rhythm and fine balance and is technically excellent; it also makes me a bit curious to know what father & son are up to.
    Kind regards,
    Gert

    Hi Laurent,
I have never succeeded in capturing paintings well, and I am amazed at your result here, I bet this photo looks better than the actual painting itself. And an excellent choice of painting too, the rich colors, amazing detail (I love how the clothing flows around the characters) and those curved columns behind are all fantastic. This is an instantly appealing and eye catching photo, really nicely done.

    Hi Leszek
This is a fine animal portrait, and you have captured so much emotion and soul in this little fuzzy guys face. The off centre composition is superb. Although not a human baby tis really reminds me of the photo work of Anne Geddes. Excellent photo.

    Hi Eleu
There is something almost sad about the body language of this creature, he seems to be looking in longing at the water. I can kind of understand too, the water has a very appealing green blue tint to it that reminds me of fine swimming pools. The animal is very shiny too. Great moment, well captured.

An instantly eye catching image, mirror perfection in this glassy lakes reflection, and a stunning scene to reflect. Your composition is really nicely chosen and the balance of light between real world and reflection is tops, when I try shots like one always ends up so much darker. Really nice photo, thanks for sharing,.

    Hi Miro
A fine image, especially attached to the sentiment and meaning of your post, but a sorry one nonetheless. Its been a pleasure seeing your work here, you posted some incredible images. Perhaps someday you may come back here, although it seems less and less people are active lately. Sad to see, I have learned a lot here through your images, and through everybody else.
I wish you the best of everything.

    Hi Abmdsudi
I like your note, especially "Let photography breathe" as that is what your portraits always do, they always have life and true soul to them. Yes indeed, happy smiley people are always nice and make us feel and fuzzy inside, but are they real? Or just a moment to make the camera feel good?
Shots like this capture mood and reality, and i do too pick up a tint of sadness in the womans face. I must admit i would not want to be beaten up by this lady with a basket of vegetables either :)

There is some debate ongoing in Ireland about this too, and whether or not street photography is invasion of privacy. I know the law states that you are free to record or photography anything that is in the public space, so the law agrees with the photog, but angry people feel otherwise. I have been trying my hand a little at your kind of portraiture, but I am still so self conscious of getting caught that I have not had much success. As such, viewing your gallery is always inspiring.

    Hi Vasilis
What a place, and what a photo. I can smell the damp moss, and I think i can feel the texture of the stones on my screen, the 3D effect you have captured here is surreal and stunning. The lay of light on the upper part of the building, and the blue sky above this array of colors makes for a fantastic photo. Brilliant work

    Hi Craig
I am not sure how many times I can type WOW before my computer blows up, but is deserving of many, many of them. I know you said that photos cant do it justice, but holy moly, this looks absolutely incredible. The onion domes (are these domes unusual in the middle east? They look more russian to my little traveled eyes) and those tower minarets with their gold leaf. The sky, the arches, the ground, every part of this looks to have been designed to absolute perfection. Stunning place, and your choice of centre view is inspired, I would have gone traditionally central on this, and it would never have had this impact.
Thanks for sharing this place, before your posts, I had never heard of it.
    Cheers
    Noel

P.S. Wow . BANG! Well, it looks like the computer over WOW'd itself. Thanks be I still have the tablet to view TE :)

    hi Omid,
Nice to see modern architecture in your gallery too, and if these are houses, they are lucky people to live in such beautiful buildings. I like how the blue sky is so well reflected in the windows, especially when the sky above is bright and a different shade, it brings a nice kind of depth to the photo.

    Hi Gerrit
Postcard perfection, the way this mighty building in the centre is framed by the large palatial building on left and the modern houses on the right is a wonderful choice of viewpoint, and up above, the sky has a great amount of activity to add more life and color to the scene. Really nicely seen and captured with such sharpness. The textures of the older buildings are really nice.

    Hi Silvio
A rather mysterious image, it conjures up images to me of Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the last ark, it has the feel of a secret, special place somewhere, and a place modern peopl should not be. Reading your note I see this place is quite ancient, and you captured that ancient feeling really well.

This is an absolutely perfect example of achieving depth in photography, every element is positioned just right so that the scene goes on forever. The warm colors of the place, as well as the combination of light and shadow is superb. I especially like where you have placed the tall cross. Really nice work and an enviable blue sky!
