    Hi Roalnd,
The rain has given you a fantastic reflection which makes a vey eye catching vertical composition. The stripe of color and light down the darker lower half of the frame looks great and the people are an excellent inclusion bringing life to the scene.

    Hi Qais,
A vy nice choice to present this in black and white, which adds mystery and drama to the shot, it is like a combination of blade runner and Gotham, but built with a beautiful middle eastern vision. I really like your description ofthe rivers of ight. It is amazing to think how many people there actually would be in this scene.

    Hi Giovanni,
A nice combination of photo and words which really adds mystery to the old ruins and makes me wonder of their purpose. It's nice that the city recognises their beauty and uses them as a canvass to this light show. Nicer still that you added to their work with the light show of the fight trails from the traffic. Great shot, thanks for sharing. Pcheers

Usually art work, and it's created a brilliant artwork inside as its silver surface reflects back the world in this concave effect. A nice chance for a self portrait too. Your tight crop and framing works perfectly here to draw attention to the sphere and it's reflections.

    Hi Brian,
This looks like a scene I would expect in hong long harbour, the sails of these boats looks very Asian to my eyes. But then I don't have sea eyes, so I am probably totally wrong. A great view, it evens your sailing retrials has afforded you many changes to capture beautiful images.

    Hi Malgo,
A nice ol photo. It is one year old than me, and it has aged a lot better than I have, haha. I see that even then on an older camera you had an eye for composition, and I like how you placed all of the buildings in the view. The house near the centre looks like it has grown from the rock.
Nice workshop too, it looks like a photo from a magazine.

    Hi Stephen,
Nice dark scene, and I really admire the viewing angle and how you placed the large impressive clock tower. It's a strange looking building, the clock looks almost like art co design, but the other part of the building does not. Strange and wondful combination of designs.

    Hello Ourania,
My congratulations on your three very successful years at TE. You have certainly made an impression on a lot of members. You are now one of the experienced members reamaining from the good old days before everyone had left. :-)
This is a very eye-catching and remarkable photo with an amusing title. The light on moody day, as you describe it, has given the colours slightly strange tones, making the photo look a bit like an old hand-painted postcard. There is no lack of attractive red details here. Having been a little boy myself once upon a time I easily understand his pride of standing at the very top, out of reach of his parents, The danger of falling to the ground would of course not bother a boy his age, but what about the parents?
    Kind regards,
    Gert

    Hi Indasish,
I love this building, and seeing your post here shows me why I so much enjoy photographing Belfast city hall recently, there are striking similarities in design between the two. It is a nice and unusual idea to photograph these contrasting elements in one shot. The old slippers for me add a sen of lonliness to the view, making me wonr whose these we're and where they have gone,
    Nice and unique idea.

    Hi Carlo
The lens distortion adds a lot of very effect to your photo here, it seems every building saw your camera and wanted to reach into the scene so they would be in it, a classical architecutre selfie of sorts. Needless to sat the light ands blue tones are classic.

    Hi Mariusz,
It may be an older shot, butbits still very cool. I too like a good postcard, and actually only associate positive connotations to the phrase. Composition, vertical frame and lighting are brilliant, and by capturing the man in the lower left you have shown perfectly well the magnitude of this fine structure. Love that blue sky too, I miss blue skies.

    Hi Kasia
Amazing this building is so new, I guess it's ancient style makes it look so much older. The graceful mineret reaches in a very fine way into the vivid blue sky.
Great workshops too, the stories you have with them once again speaks of the friendliness of the people here. I only wonder what on earth you could do with two kilos of lemons :)

    Hi Maria,
This is a great horizontal scene, leading from one side so perfectly to the other, and you placed the ship well leaving lots of space for it to sail into. It is nice to hear the city's wate structures being used so well, it adds so much vibrancy to an urban space to have these watery areas to escape to. The strong light on the buildings and the moody background a very cool.

    Hello Burak,
This is a fine and less known view from Istanbul. The tower is famous but I am not used to seeing it from this side. Where did you stand when taking this photo? I like this view very much, It shows so many buildings tightly packed together with so many colours and so many details. The lack of bright sun makes the colours if possible even nicer.
I would agree with John that if you make your photos smaller, maybe only 1200 pixels at the longest side, they will be more easily watched and less grainy.
    Kind regards,
    Gert

Wow, those colors! Fans of the color wheel would be so excited to e this perfect comparison of yellows and orange against such a vivid blue sea, it looks spectacular. In addition to the colors, it a fascinating architecture moment as well. Very ice idea to break the scene in three like this, which creates great depth.

    H Silvio
You describe this place beautifully, and it seems that in its day it would have been a very fine shrine for worship. Even now, in it's ruinous state it makes a great subject for photography. A shame it is in poor conditon, and surprising as its not as old as other great buildings of your fine country that have survived well. A nice and important document shot of a structure that looks like it may not last too much longer.

    Hi Romano,
It seems strange to see this style of poster art in this place, which makes the image instantly eye catching. Even though the colors are not overly bright or garish, they still pop when presented in this darker grey environment. The emergency exit sign seems to be guiding peoe to the art tool in case of artistic emergency, run this way :)
