this is so pretty that it does not seem real at all. It looks like a painted fantasy from someone's dream.
I like very much your composition with the lovely path with colorful flowers on both sides. The rocks have indeed amazing shapes and colors and everything captured in a great light and with the dark blue sky. Beautiful work!!!

Wow this is the stuff that dreams are made of. How lucky you are to be realising yours and travelling to such remarkable places. The quality of the photo is equally beautiful. I love those tones and the silvery light bouncing off the water. The trees on either side, act like ushers, ushering our eyes towards the centre of the frame. Excellent job. Have a great weekend.

Un'Ora Blu meravigliosa. Adoro quel colore cobalto e come l'hai contrast con i toni Dorati. Il POV basso ha lavorato bene qui, aggiundo all'atmosfera di tranquillitá e mistero. Hai fatto bene nei condizioni di luce difficili.

Not one of your "prettiest" photos, but I admire it a lot because of how it makes an everyday subject look artistic and extraordinary. And that is entirely due to you and the way you have looked at it. The play of light and shade, the diagonals, the shapes and geometries are compelling. I like your choice of vertical frame, which accentuates the perspective and the inclusion of the human subject adding an element of dynamism and interest.

I pescatori hanno un grande fascino per me, forse é perche di mio padre e nonno, non lo so. Non é importante di dove vengono, i pescatori sono sempre il cuore del villaggio, una parte di storia indiscutabile. Come qui. Hai catturato una bella parte della vita quotidiana per questa gente. La tua foto mi fa pensare della vita piú semplice e felice anche se non é "moderna". La qualitá della foto é ammirabile. Mi piacciono molto i colori dei costume dei pescatori, ed i suoi riflessi sono il mio element favourite. Una scena ben visto e ben realizzato. Complimenti.

Non sapevo di questa statua e la controversia dietro essa. Certamente é diversa dale statue antiche che associamo con la cittá eternal, ma l'ha la sua bellezza. Specialmente nel modo in cui l'hai preso. Mi piace molto il contrasto tra i bianchi ed i blu. Il cielo é perfetto, con nuvole sottile ma elementi neessari. Senza di loro, l'impatto della foto sarebbe di piú. Hai scelto un bel POV con nitidezza ammirabile, saturazione ricchi ma natural e una profonditá di campo impressionante. Grazie per la condivisione e ti auguro un bellissimo fine settimana.

Come il Silvione, stai svilupando velocemente quel naso per gli angoli carini e caratterici del tuo bel paese. E beata noi. Questo angolo é proprio bello, con la luce caloroso, i muri antichi, il portone e finestrine cosi. Ottimo il taglio vertical ed il gestione tra luce e penombra. Una foto deliziosi, che mi porta anche piú della nostalgia.

A sensational photo of these wonderful ruins. I think you chose a superb POV, making the most of the beautiful angles and remarkable shadows that the ruins threw. The colours are beautifully saturated and the vertical frame was well-chosen. My OCD comment of the day will be in respect to the pile of bricks on the right foreground. Whilst they are probably something important (like foundations or something) I would have cloned them out as they are a distraction to my anally retentive inclinations. Apologies, my problem not yours more likely :)

Bonjour Jean,
spectacular view of Venice. It is quite photographed and I have been there myself too but somehow I don't recall this POV. It allows a beautiful composition with the channel reflecting nicely the bright sky and adding some light into the narrow street below. The channel makes also a nice curve leading the eye to the centre. Finally the tower less popular than classical campanile from Venice is so pleasantly set against the snow covered mountains.

I am not a golfer, but this photo would interest my husband, who loves it. What a view these golfers have, I would find it difficult to concentrate on my shot with all that beauty in the background. Superb colours and sharpness. A lovely daily life scene.

yes it is worth to take 100 pictures to get one like this. I really appreciate your honesty here as some people would probably simply say that they are so great and that is why they succeeded. You are great indeed but in shots like this the statistics plays a big role too. The effect is fantastic, I would not worry too much about the space in front of the rickshaw. You caught the rider and the passenger in a good pose and the movement is quite clearly emphasized.

What a dreamy, magical scene, thanks to the light, your excellent post processing and your in-camera shooting skills. These saunas are world famous, but I have not ever seen one for myself. So seeing it through your eyes is the next best thing and you do them justice. An ethereal and atmospheric photo of the highest quality.

As someone who has seen snow only twice in her life, these types of photos always intrigue me. Especially those that involve skiing at is completely foreign to me. I love the perspective here. Were you not frightened to be taking such a photo? Is there not a risk of falling off the chairlift?? Anyway, the stark contrast of powdery blue and powdery white is amazing and I love the angle you have employed to shoot the cables of the chairlift. The way the lines run from the corners of the frame is very visually magnetic. I can't take my eyes of following the cables, even though I feel dizzy from doing so. Excellent work, thanks for sharing.

A stunningly beautiful altar and church. The stained glass is breath-taking. You chose the vertical frame well, the way you managed the light is extraordinarily good. It is so easy to blow-out the colours of the stained glass, but here you have kept them rich and full. Excellent job, a creative POV and beautiful photo all round.

This landscape (and indeed the county) is very close to that of my husband's county (Donegal). The soft colours are enticing and you achieved a superb depth of field. The landscape here is so typically Irish, no mistaking it. I love what you have done with the light and you have delivered a very attractive photo.

hehehehe, I thought my old nanna had risen from the grave to give one of her Scottish temperance lectures. But no, looking closely at your photo, I see the culprit :) A beautiful photo of this temple, wonderful colours and intriguing details.
