    Hello Jason,

The wide angle lens effect, the point of view,
the composition and the diagonal lines in the
picture creates a lots of depth. The vertical
position emphasize the depth extra. The Light
management is also great. The B&W makes the
    picture timeless.

    Friendly regards,

What I like more are the little details, the rings, the tissue paper just in case, the ornamental pipe, the overall poise and his graceful presence, this needed the right execution given the side lighting from where you were positioned and I I think you have nailed it here Klaudio. I don't think you needed to do anything differently, the portrait is just perfect. What completes it is the puff of smoke hides his face like a veil.

Overall a good people photo to start with.

You have reminded of the film Argo by Ben Affleck, supposed to be set in Iran, and if I am not mistaken the oldest bazaar in the world is in Iran, and there were some sequences in that movie which were shot in a market In Istanbul because they authorities didn't provide permission to shoot in that bazaar in Iran. Any idea which market is it in Iran ?

Me back to work tomorrow, that bad feeling in the mouth, but hey, hope you had a great Sunday !

Welcome back Mr Klaudio, gosh you have just travelled half across the world, to be a part of another world which has flourished for thousands of years. Iran is quite a choice for a destination, it is bold, shows your appetite for adventure, travel, your need to explore the lesser known lands, forgotten people, your need to find answers.

I am looking forward to the series, take it beyond the objective and let my imagination lead the way. This photo reminds me of similar hamlets that i have seen in the remote corner of the upper Himalayas. Similar topography, the striated mountains with several banded mineral deposits. Interesting to see how the locals have bordered the doors and windows with white paint, looks like some ritual.

Did you stay over in this village, this looks really back in time. this could be the adventure you are looking for !

    regards

[p.s. - given the isolation and remoteness of these high and dry places on the planet, the last thing that should come to your mind is "cupcakes" !! :)) ]

Aahh, fresh one, stands out in this gallery and perhaps in an exhibition too, i like the combination of one being aware your presence and the other distracted, the textures add value to the photograph, i wish this photo was composed as a part of entire wall on either side. i feel i need some space, just for my imagination i guess.

Classic, a portrait from another world, the poise, the eyes, the hair, the talisman which you have talked about.

How does it feel to think about her and that moment when you photographed, sitting in your apartment in sweden ? there must be so much more to this..

you have remained invisible to most of your subjects which is very interesting, were you wearing a turban too with a long beard, it doesn't attract too much attention then, doesn't it ?

these pics are just amazing, the journey i presume was related to work ?

Quite an uneasiness seeing a photo from Aleppo, after all that i have seen, heard and read about this city under siege and others too, the war, the bloodshed i can understand, but the destruction of historical sites, old mosques etc is very confusing, are they trying to re-write history..

i can feel the cold stone on the ground, i think you share all your photos from Syria, give this site something else to appreciate and talk about, not just pretty nature photos..
