    Hello Matt,
This is a great POV. The slope of this street resembles a roller coaster ride! It's nice to have a couple of cars coming towards us, and I like all of the typical balconies lining the street. Very nice!

    Ciao Luciano,
Wow! These boys seem to have no fear of jumping off these rocks. They are not as high as some others that I've seen, but it still looks a bit dangerous. You did a great job freezing the flying jumper in the air. Hopefully nobody does get hurt at this spot. It looks like a place that the boys really enjoy.

    Hello Gert,
This is another fascinating and lovely photo. I like the warm sunlight, and it's interesting to see these men inspecting the potatoes. Along with the two WS photos, this is another excellent documentary from the past.

    Hello Rui,
I like the inside of grand theaters like this one. The gold and red is so elegant. I also like the view you chose, including some seats, and showing us a lot of the different levels. We don't have any theaters this old here in the US, so I'm always fascinated by these old buildings. It's so beautiful, and your presentation is perfect.

    Hello Admdsudi,
This is a lovely close-up. I can feel the emotion as this woman bows and prays. I like her colorful pants and gold bangles. The sharpness is so good that we can even see the thanaka on her face. Since you didn't disturb her, I think it was fine to take this photo.

Neyvan, hi, you have a great collection of travel photos from Argentina and your country. Your contribution and the notes can be a great source of reference. Norway is a country on my wish list, but for the northern lights, how come you have not captured the aurora ? I guess its the winter conditions that make it possible to see it, you travelled in june.

    Hello Bulent,
This colorful foreground is beautiful. There are many different types of flowers to enjoy, and they make an excellent compliment to the cliffs and water in the background. We always associate green with Ireland, but here we see that it can also show us a "symphony of colors". :-)

Great view from the Skytree! Things are definitely packed densely together in Tokyo. I like the way the river cuts through all the buildings, and the depth in this photo is great, too. I've been to Tokyo twice, and really liked it.

    Hello Serghei,
I really like this view! The bright ferry really stands out, and it looks so long next to the pier. Using the old, wood pilings in the foreground was a great idea, and it gives a nostalgic feeling to the ferry boat. Yes, time passes quickly. One year ago we enjoyed a lovely day together. I'm still waiting to see if any TE members will come to NYC before this year ends...

Lovely lead into the gompa, now i can relate to this structure from ones in morocco. They are called "Kasbahs". The concept is the same, the design is different. Man has evolved quite similarity, even at the remote corner, at the edge of africa, they decided to build the same things on mountain tops.

intriguing light given the overcast sky.

Its about finding right symmetry first and then the light. Sometime i just step back and wonder if this is best representation of Man, patience and simplicity.

The little window inside the dome, where you can see the sky...mesmerising.

Photographers can barely resist anything that evokes that feeling for even a fraction of a second. be it people or places. We crave for that feeling that just lasts for a second, and then voila...we have something that could last a thousand years.

I remember doing this tour, was it the red tour, or the yellow tour was it ? This place is exotic, isn't it. Am happy you have shared these here, i crashed out with a few from turkey owing to a transition in personal life etc..

Oh i just loved this one from the thumbnail and now this is bliss, wonder if i ever will go back, the love seems to have perished, but i have respect for the grand old mountains and the people, something seems lost. But when i see such photos it evokes strange feelings, this is where i started, wonder what changed.

beautiful photo my friend, the thin blue intrusion of the lake, serene.

question - do those solar panels actually work ?

I too couldn't resist looking at another rainy day picture, here in mumbai, it rains for a few months, fills the lakes, the lakes overflow, the roads break up like biscuits. But the best part, the city always keeps moving, through kilometres long traffic, through grounded vehicles, potholes and craters, ( certain parts of the city have a moon like surface, you have to see it to believe it Rose..)

But i love the city with its defects, but hey, the rain does that to the city..finally the Monssons have receded and boom another rainy day photo, but the energy in this photo is distracting, it distracts me from the dull gloomy surrounding, and why ? because you have pretty girls, pretty girls with the boyfriends, girls with their girlfriends, the scene come ALIVE..

you managed to catch the attention of one, overall, something that i too would have shot, just to feel life, feel the rain !

    take care

You are into wildlife as well, i am getting to know you slowly :)

Well, talking of seinfeld, the first that comes to my mind is Kramer barging into the room, through the door in one continoues motion, and delivering his lines. Gosh, i have not watched the series for a long time now, but every character in the series in just fascinating, i think George is a genius, then comes Kramer, Jerry, and Elaine..hahaha, thats my preference in order.

the photo, you have talked about patience, i think wildlife and street is about patience, the results show. good stuff

    Hello Jason,
What an ending to Derek Jeter's last game at Yankee Stadium on Thursday! It was definitely exciting and emotional, and it's nice of you to post some tribute photos. This is a great view of Jeter at bat, and your POV looking down allowed you to include all of the area around home plate, which I really like. The WS photos are also great. I can't believe neither NY team is going to the post season this year. I guess fans there in Arizona can relate to our baseball sorrow... :-)

    Hello Mesut,
This is sweet photo. Many people in big cities think that pigeons are annoying, but I like them, and I think they are beautiful. :-) This couple seems to be enjoying their baths, and their feathers look well cared for. It's nice of you to put out these pots for them. The greenery surrounding these birds is also very nice.

    Hello Jean Jacques,
This photo has a dreamy quality to it. I like the composition very much, with the silhouettes of the walkers and hanging leaves, as well as the clearing mist. The people on land and in the water are moving in opposite directions, which adds even more interest to the scene. It's a charming photo. :-)
