    Hi Sasha
It's about depth & visual perspective; The winding road, an integral part of the shot, sparks attention which leads the eye through creating a stark contrast. You cope the light pretty well there with nice shadow and shade. Nice take, Congrats

    Hi Claude
A vibrant capture as the big poster being part of the streetscape and as effective marketing technique perhaps. Great view with all their diff shapes and some fascinating colours to grab the eye and much to look at in the large version. Very well seen and explored to form a story, Congrats

    Hi Abmdsuid
when I see photos like this, it makes me think to myself...I need to be more creative just like this :)

this type of shot you took inspires me to change my own behaviour - what better compliment can I give than that!

the overall look is so effective with just 2 colours and 2 subjects, wonderful

    Hi Denis
now this is quite the mysterious set of colours!
    talk about excellent silhouettes too.
neat to see the effectiveness of the tall poles on the right, they add another dimension to the scene. obviously the red orange skyline is key, its beautiful! cheers

    Hi danos
we don't get to see planes like this very often, especially here on TE. its quite striking, those colours stand out a mile away! the blue sky gives the perfect contrasting element.
excellent lighting, sharpness and clarity throughout, and yes, I enjoy this close up view. cheers

    Hi Recep
Its just a matter of personal choice and opinion, but i'd rather see this scene without the car - but thats just me :)

the main highlight is the pathway, the tree trunks, the orange leaves and the contrasting green on the left. love the sharp angular lines the depth creates, and the dark lighting enhances the mood smartly. nice one.
    cheers

    Hi Bulent
what i don't get is, how could he have knocked it over? isn't this thing locked or pinned down with bolts or something???
what a sad state of affairs!

another thing...I thought it was known as common fact that you NEVER EVER point horseshoes down! its bad luck. when you point horseshoes down (hanging on a wall etc...) the luck pours OUT, when you hang them correctly the luck flows IN. Seriously! why would they point the horseshoes down???????? Karma!

lovely shot though my friend, its an ideal composition to show off the walls details. glad to hear it wasn't you that knocked over the statue :)

    cheers

    Hi Pierre
if we look closely we can see the tiny people walking along the bottom portions, it really does put scale to the image.

that Palace of Justice building is HUGE! it gigantic compared to all the other buildings...too bad the architect didn't put more effort into a prettier design haha but its still a wonderful view of Montreal, excellent lighting.

    Hi serge
these open squares can be so hard to photograph sometimes.
this one seems to fit that thought, alot of distortion going on, I wonder how it'd look if you could straighten out the leaning buildings a bit more. There is a strong sense of openness to the scene, and the atmosphere is strong with this diffused lighting and grey skyline. crisp and sharp. cheers

red/orange rooftops are very popular in Europe! haha
along the bottom, are they garages for each single home?

I like the rustic views we see, it has a strong atmosphere to it which is quite rugged. lets hope for good spring weather :) cheers

as i'm scanning your gallery page I realized i missed this one. I'll have to take a look at that link to understand this wall better. Very cool, i just read the link, it gives a better understanding of whats going on here.

i like how they used local stone, this is a piece of art in my opinion, and it looks fantastic. something unique and it has strong local ties to it. cheers

    Hi Daniel
what can I say? this is just pretty darn cool.
I wonder how much maintenance is needed to keep the gardens looking like this haha

Also, does it change colour alot during peek autumn months?
It could also look very pretty in winter with lots of snow.
the tight cropping and framing work very well here, its smart to keep the sky out. cheers

    Hi Ney
oh yes, I remember this place very well :)
Its hard to photograph because its a very small square and its hard to fit the tall skinny building inside the frame - at least thats how I felt. but you've succeeded very well here, and i really like the couple sitting on that bench - they add alot to the overall look and atmosphere. lovely colours and rich tones. beauty! cheers

    Hi Malgo
impossible to show a good angle of the facade - perhaps you need a drone! haha :)

this place is incredible! so much artwork on the exterior walls, and look closely at the rooftop on the left with its patterns and designs.

are you able to climb up to the top for city views?
the blue sky gives us the perfect colour contrast for the red.

    PS
I'll be visiting Portugal in April-May for 2 weeks :)

if we look closely we can see some of that tacky 1960's style architecture in the far bg that Miami is famous for :)

personally, I'm not a fan of all those pinks and oranges for this guarde station, but I suppose it works to draw attention right? looks warm and sunny! this is Miami! thanks for this one. cheers
