    Hi Pierre
now thats a strange looking church top. I wonder what that would be considered in terms of architectural style. To be honest I dont' like it that much, its sort of weird and out of place don't you think? what are your thoughts on it?

interesting town, the homes are scattered about the hillsides among all the trees. quite peaceful place here. never heard of Perce before. cheers

wonderful shallow depth of field here my friend.
looks like the woman is trying and focusing really hard to come OUT of the scene hahahaha

the is quietly beautiful and thought provoking. sweet work

    Hi Denis
sweet, the vertical compo was certainly the way to go here.
it stands out well from the gallery page. noticed it right away. Cool tones along the bottom, warmer tones up top. lots of depth and very charming all the way around. cheers

haha, I think this guy needs some customers! I'll go :)
you framed the scene very well, the crop and cut invites us in and the red/white colors mixed with the black and darker tones are an attractive combo. well spotted and thought through.

    Hi Luis
Looking at this subject, I wasn't expecting to read about wines! My first thought was you took this maybe in a cemetery, but I can see now that I was wrong.

Perhaps the devil does exist in the man's cellar haha.
the sculpture is very odd and mysterious, imagine how this looks at night time. Very odd and unique. cool post

    Hi Ryszard
I've missed a number of your last photos, so i need to get to more than just one.

for obvious reasons this one captured my attention right away.
the 1/3 compo works well to split up the glass and stone. love the distortions, and seeing the reflections on the windows to the right is very cool too. great shot

    Hi Malgo
you posted a similar scene with this same canal, its quite strange and at the same time attractive/photogenic. It must to a nice feeling to be walking along the sides and you can hear the sounds of a light waterfall - I like that idea and concept. it would be awesome if all the shops and buildings were ancient monastery's :) neat place. cheers

haha, this is the type of scene I used to capture all the time, and I still do but I don't post them as often.

the tight cropping of the main subject is key here, its bold and in our face - impossible to miss it haha. love the strange blue colors too. and that one missing or open window is acting as a key focal point. cheers

oh ya, this is what i like - love these lighthouses! and who needs lots of light right! hahaha..yes, lighting is obviously good to have, but sometimes subjects in the shadows work well too.

love the large clouds in the bg, they fill up most of the frame and give the scene plenty of atmosphere. this is great! really like it

looking forward to seeing these scenes of yours in the winter and autumn season too :)

    Hi Daniel
wow, thats alot of deaths, especially for a fire. We don't often hear about large deaths in fires in todays time. Back in the old days sure, large city fires were common place, but not in todays world.

as for the photo, i like its simplicity, its quaint and very attractive. the lighting and exposure are spot on, just perfect. love the windows up top which adds alot of class.
