    Hi Maciej
The white townhall building clearly outshines the rest and does give the vital impact and contrast amongst the red roofs. It's beautifully shot on a fine daylight with excellent colour scheme, pof and detail. Excellent snap, Congrats.

    Hi Jean Claude
I have never seen this scene before, at least not from this exact POV.
and the arc de Triomphe is WAAAAAAY back there :)

even with all the glass and buildings there is still that large open feeling and experience.
wonderful views, its a new scene from Paris!

    Cheers

    Hi Ike
yes, I remember these sets of 3 photos.
and I do recall thinking the other 2 were the better of the group - simply because of the lighting and they had more variations of color.

But that doesn't mean there's anything wrong with this shot, its just different thats all.

One could argue this shot is more moody and more mysterious than the others - its all up for interpretation.

As I photograph many city scenes like this, its easy to relate to.

    have a great weekend

    Hi Gert
I can't help it....The photographer in me is frustrated a little bit because here we have 2 women standing tall vertically with a tall vertical door frame behind them but the photographer is taking their photo in a horizontal format! I hope she took some vertical shots too :)

Yeah, I'm thinking this was more than just a group of friends, I think something was planned here. But thats just my take.

Its always fun when you bump into something like this unexpectedly, as i'm sure you found it fun to take this scene too.

glad you got the door in the scene, and if they did notice you they certainly aren't showing it.
    Fun shot!

A scene which one would love to walk right deep into the valley, decently composed and captured with interesting bg. A simple pic with depth and coloured to suit the condition. Well done, Congrats

    Hi Takero
How many Fesitvals ARE there in Japan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There seem to be so many :)

and how do people get involved with them? Do they sign up? do they practice? so many questions.

I think I enjoy this photo the most out of your latest from this group.
Its an intimate and close up relationship between the two women. Excellent photo of this moment.

love the Santa hanging off of the wall :)

    wow, this one is fantastic.
I can't wait to see this place in person some day.

the way you describe it sounds so photogenic.
Just look at all the balconies, the old time buildings, the old Church, so much history here.

    lovely place and photograph.

yes, every once in a while you will post a photo just like this one :)
Its a change of pace for you.

Nice to have the green colors in the bg for color contrast, that helps too.

Oh to be a child again right!
Imagine if an adult was doing the same thing here, we'd all think the person has gone crazy or something :)

This is one of those photos where I bet the mother would really appreciate a copy of it herself, don't you think?

a fine crop and cut of the concrete landscape, a much different post from your previous shots.

    Hi Maciej
wonderful post with the informative note to go along with it.

This man you speak of, he lived to be only 47 years of age! What happened to him I wonder?

I also wonder if this reconstruction is acurate to the original build.

Splendid photo, its clear, bright, colorful, and sharply composed.

another excellent TE post in your gallery

Hi Craig, It is a kind of a duel now :). Isn't it fun? Hamnoy or A? Utakleiv or Flakstad? Going by car or by bus? Snow or flowers? Even winter looks nice with the sun, lol. beautiful composition with vertical format. Meandering stream give a fine depth. Yes, India and then Norway in short time must be shocking difference.

Funny, I have just came back from the trip, and everyone asks me about my plans:).
Have a great weekend, I am waiting impatiently for more photos from Lofoten, but India can be too.

    Hi Krzysztof
Wouldn't it be fun to be able to sit down and have the opportunity to play this Organ!! Imagine the sound it would make with all that stone in the church.

For some reason it looks somewhat Medieval, perhaps because of the colors.

love the top portion as well, glad you added in the ceiling with its forms and shapes too.

you know how much I love clouds, I'm always talking about them.

and looking at your photo, its easy to understand why right!

these clouds add wonderful forms and shapes, while also providing excellent depth and reflections long the bottom portions.

Oh yes, I knew exactly what was going on here even before I read your note!

I try to avoid these people as well, as sometimes they can be very aggressive and almost beg you to take a photo with them for money. But I guess we all have to make a living right!

Smart idea to go to a place where they can't follow you! haha

excellent colors, excellent pov. My favorite person in this scene has to be the man in the white hat! Cool looking dude!

    Hi Malgo
its so much fun comparing your summer shots to my winter shots.

Having now seen your photo from Flakstad, I think I will post mine in a couple of days :)
I just posted a new photo now, so i'll have to wait.

You show us a wonderful collection of photos here.
Hard to say which is my favorite, but this one is certainly deserving of the main post too.

love the position of the mountain in the bg as it sits over on the side of the frame, and the people gives it a fine balance.

Of course the blue sky and large clouds are the icing on the cake.

Lovely shot! really enjoy this one
