Going fishing is a calm way to spend a day while retired, Marino, and the old man sitting there looks as have all the time in the world.
But, I also look on the surrounding, see an modern town and port, big vessel anchored. One more subject: golden tone reflected on the modern house windows.

A clear and sharp as you had a a tripod, no need to a tripod it if there is a stable railing or a fence to use. Beautiful bay picture, superb early morning shot - worth the dawn stroll taken.

Since fishing is the main livelihood provider for this paople - all familly members were mobilized to help with the boat and fishs.
Great multi-colors scene, peopple contributed the human element to the fine picture.

Light-tower on artificial pier is at mid-point picture, but divide the scene between orange color on left and blue sky on right.
Fine contrast, nice ambiance collected. "calmness" as written.

Vernazza is one beautiful little town in Cinque-Terre, but since the great flood of 10/2011 - I did not see even one cat, let alone a sleeping cats on the pavement: they probably keep alert for some other mishappening's...
I think if you just raised a bit the camera you'd have added nice ladies on the Cafe'...

This harbour has a perfect square in shape, as i remember, chris. Also, many restaurants and bars around the place and a marine-museum on the far left-side end seen here.
The colors looks as taken through with a filter, that dense a bit the saturated colors, but not a big issue to count.

Your hometown has ancient monuments, and must be a fine photography objects around.
Good POV over the church, we gat to see very clearly the magnificent tower and edifice in FG.

Did not know myself about the "La tamerice" but remeber seeing it throughout Toscana, Carlo.
Beautiful typical view on small towns in this area, green around vineyards and cypress trees, while town on tops of the hill's.
Great POV chosen.
