    Hi Roland
this one puts a smile on my face right away.
how cute and charming is this! wonderful idea to capture it, I bet most people walk past here every day and don't even THINK about seeing its photographic potential.
all those signs against the red colored building still stand out strongly, so glad you captured it and showed it to us here. looks great
    Cheers

    Hi Kasia
    great to see you back!
I noticed you posted a newer photo from your recent trip, but looking at this one I couldn't help myself.
it really does show US doing our thing right!? and I bet your photo here is just as good if not better than the one's they captured. I bet they'd love to have a copy of this one - I know I would if one of those guys were me.
and you're so right, to be a dedicated photographer it can be a very lonely and isolated experience, but it pays off in many other ways too.
lovely shot here, the mood sets the stage well.
Looking forward to hearing many weird and fun tales from your recent journey
    Cheers
    Craig

I like John's comments that it would be very green if it were in Scotland because of all the rain :)
you're posting a very funny looking building here, and i love it.

    Hi Takero
how could I NOT take a closer look at this photo? its super cute and puts a smile on my face too.
I like how you included the large Cathedral towers in the bg too, just to show some of the local architecture and scenery. For obvious reasons the strong colors stand out so well, they are quite vibrant and demand attention.
good shot from this point of view
    cheers

    Hi Ryszard
I'm very glad I decided to click on this shot to get a bigger view of it.
I use the Beta Trek Earth website full time now, no longer on the newer site - the photo's there are too blurry.
your shot here is very crisp and clean looking, and also much larger and easier to view.
hard to imagine that church being so old and yet its still standing strong and proud today.
it stands out well along the river, your shot has very attractive blue tones mixed with greens.
    cheers
    Craig

this is a very cute little place to take some photos.
I bet its even nicer when the water is fully in, perhaps there would be even more reflections, but this is good too.

very clear and sharp presentation on the Trek Earth Beta website, I like it here much more.
fine lighting striking the town's buildings as well, looks great.

    Hi Sergiy
great to see pictures from you!
this is a fantastic shot that shows the local landscape and the hard working men at their trade.
certainly a working man's life, no business men out here in suits and ties!
great to see the road lead through the photo creating depth and we get a sense of the dryness of the landscape and how arid it is out here, hope they have water!
    fantastic post
    cheers

    Hi Noel
yeah, we had every intention of visiting Slieve League, but when it was our time to go here it was pouring pouring rain...so we chose to pass up on it and continue driving to a different area.
We were bummed out to say the least because we really wanted to see this area. Guess I'll have to make a return visit at some point :)

and the weather you got here this day was fantastic, couldn't have asked for anything better. cool story about the little tower, imagine if its your job to stand in it for hours and hours and hours, just LOOKING...I wonder how much that paid per hour! haha

    awesome shot

    very cool indeed.
glad there were a couple of people on the bridge because it really does add scale to it, its much larger than I had initially thought. and of course its great that we get to see some of the landscapes in the bg without much cloud interference, awesome shot from this pov
