    Hello Gyorgy,
I really like this kind of photos which are divided between a streetscape and its reflection in a glass façade. The view down the street looks lovely too with this fine light and it gives a great peek into daily life here.

    Hallo Wolfgang,
    wow this is really impressive.
The architecture of course is quite spectacular but you had also amazing conditions, not easy but very rewarding. I like the dark sky which makes a fantastic background here for the brightly colored structure. The yellow domes are so picturesque and so is the blue colored palace.
It looks we have been visiting in roughly similar time two sides of the war. I hope to visit St Petersburg someday but if there is too much walking it may be too much for my little daughter.

Excellent angle here, very original point of view and the effect is brilliant with the perspective squeezing well the long palace into an array of repeated decorative elements.
    Beautiful reportage!!

    Hallo Rob,
Een mooie impressie met al deze kleurrijke jaren-'60-posters aan de muur van deze tentoonstelling, die zo drukbezocht was dat het uiteraard moeilijk was bezoekers te vermijden, maar ze storen niet op de foto.

    Bonjour Christiane,
beautiful park scene. I like very much the statue. It looks like a father with his child.
You had such challenging light conditions there with cloudy weather and yet the outcome is lovely, it feels quite luminous and with vivid colors in site of the shade.
    Excellent quality work,

    Hi Craig,
very impressive waterfall photography. The houses in front are maybe not spectacular but they serve well as scale markers, and thanks to their presence the waterfall appears so tall! I like very much how the mountain is sculpted there, and its rough texture is well emphasized by fantastic light conditions.
    Beautiful work!!!

    Dag John

wow, this is fantastic. so its just sitting here empty? can you get inside of it? I like that its un cared for and left to the natural elements. looks so much more real and life like.
this is absolutely amazing, what a striking Old Castle.

    Hi Ike
this shot brings up alot of social issues. It has absolutely nothing to do with Tel Aviv, Zoo's all around the world are either hated or loved. I can understand the reasons for both sides. Yes, the animals look depressed at times or possibly bored in a confined smaller space compared to real life parks. However, most people don't realise most zoo animals have been saved, for a number of different reasons, and or bc their numbers are so low its important to keep them safe.

from this scene here it looks as if you're actually in the same space haha...but in the WS we can see the electrical wires more clearly. thanks for this
    cheers

    Hi Gert
I have to admit, these are not my favorite shots of yours, but i"m also admittedly trying really hard to appreciate it and understand where you're coming from - rather than just dismissing it and moving on. I know you like these, so lets give it some respect.

I get the part about seeing the two people facing opposite directions. stories and mysterious can abound if you allow your mind to go there.

the neon is a good touch, and most of all I like the weird writing on the top right in the store front.

To me, its about the mystery of the possible meeting between the two. cheers

    Hi Bev,
    wow, the light was magnificent!
It is a charming harbour scene with so much color and plenty of attractive sea related elements.
But it is the light which transforms it into a real spectacle for the eyes. The clouds have a lovely pattern -again being a bit darker than the brightly lit foreground. The latter also allowed a very vivid and colorful reflection in the water.
    Very impressive view, excellent work,
    M

    Hi Rob,
I remember this bridge from photos of Sacramento I have seen before. Very characteristic one!
You took it from an attractive angle also including some street life context.
What works as a surprise for me is a bike lane. I thought in America the cars had the right of way and bikes were not very popular even in California but may be things have changed...
    Lovely scene, very well recorded!!
