    Merhaba Murat Bey,

The Austin Healy remains one of my favorite sports cars of all time. The lines of the car hang together well, and there is a certain unique character the designers imbued it with. This is an excellent angle to photograph it, or to draw it, as I used to do as a teenager.

    Warm regards,

    Hello Gerritt,

You captured the soul of the young lady, exuding presence of dignity. You also placed her well, with one eye (her right) very close to the vertical centerline. This principle, discovered by English-American psychologist, Christopher Tyler, was unconsciously practiced by the greatest portrait painters in history — including, Leonardo and Rembrandt.

    Regards,

    Bulent

    Hello Stephen,

An excellent symmetric composition in this architectural portrait. What is surprising is the number and the size of each window. Heating the building would have been expensive, but what wonderful light from the windows. Your note is wonderfully informative as usual.

    Hi Rosemary
I hate to say this because i don't want to make you upset, but i actually prefer the WS photo :)

there have been several times when i have posted shots, and later i wished I had posted my WS photo...ever happen to you?

both are powerful images, this one shows great detail in the statue and the building.

the WS photo has great perspectives and angles.
this one here is much more in-your-face up front.

    both are great though.
but i'd put the WS photo as the winner because we can see his face. but thats just me :)

    awesome post.
this is a subject I'd love to photograph myself

    cheers

    Hi Rob,

You had a good idea to use the arch of the hall to frame the building in the background. The distance between the hall and the building is giving depth to the composition. The good luminosity is bringing out the colors. Have a nice day.

hmm...i wonder how many people have posted photo's referring to Chaplin...not too many is my guess :)

good for you to find a way to sneak it in here.

I have to say, i would never have really given much thought to a Titanic Museum when visiting Ireland. That is until i came across your photos here on TE.

    fun reference to Charlie

    Hi Krzysztof
what happened to all the people?
must be either really early in the morning or quite late in the evening.

really like the orange tones, the mood, the green windows at the far back and the strong right sided facades.

Thanks for emailing me that photo of the buildings!

for me, the building on the far right is the star of the show. it reall ydoes stand out well, and i like how its almost facing us yet we know its a side profile view.

not the best of light as you mentioned, but still attractive and a well managed scene.
    a job well done

    Hi Gert
i agree with your comments about not wanting to test the people's patience in this situation.

here, people are relaxing and enjoying their private sort of moment, having a photographer shooting in their direction could tick them off a bit.
It already looks like you have 3 men staring at you.

another fine cultural image, love the carpeted 'beds' where you can drink tea...i had NO idea this was even such a thing. I take it its still around today too.

excellent cultural shot, fun to view for sure.
    enjoy your day
