The only thing I like about this photo is the subject it is a nice snap shot

However, I think that the High contrast or HDR effect is disastrous in this situation. Shadow details are lost.

I suggest you use flash to fill in the shadow areas and reduce the highlight on the turban or alternatively move the subject to a area where the lighting is more diffuse

My feeling a softer B&W photo will have more impact

Master and Servant. one of the most typical kind of relation in Gay World which during that hot Parisian day cried out so loudly for crowd acceptation..

Somehow the most shocking.. adult men wearing leash, walking on their knees, being kicked in their ass..made such a shots myself but frankly, failed in relevant, artistic tool choice.. couldn't find the beauty in the ugliness.. to see it as metaphor rather than reality which is so hardly understood.. and this is sth I looked for in all Gay Pride stuff..

What I like about your shot the most, is very high contrast which gives us a documentary scene as taken from a dream.. real but not really.. in this case it helps a lot:) and the men at the right face expression.. it gives so much theatrical action to the scene..

and, last but not least.. sb in the middle of all that crazy mess apparently liked you..:) have you noticed that, Fred?:) he looks so welcome..:)

    kind, agn

You made a really intensive and accurate light-management direction here Sayeed.. Boy's sight caught in between mixed dimensions given by shadows, reflections, glass surface..
2 seconds is not enough to catch what belongs where:)

First i thought I'd prefer thigh crop without brick wall at the left.. now I think that surprising face lost in wider surrounding strikes even more.

    Well done indeed:)

The angle you chose for mixing the boy's silhouette with endless panorama makes the biggest impression.. there is sth twisted here.. proportions of the boy's body reminds me the troll rather than a real human being.. sure, his shadow is some kind of "extra" here but anyway thanks to the angle I feel the depth, some kind of, wind?, movement in the space..
    nice one!

Regarding your remark about rice alcohol I perfectly understood that light management wasn't crucial while you made this double portrait:) but.. because like it very much decided to improve those missing factors uploading the WS with my version of your pic..
Didn't make a lot, just increased the brightness and contrast but a difference is significant, as I think, showing that you presented us, in fact ,first class National Geographic capture:)

Alive statue.. beautiful with tender light and delicate pose..
with so typical for Japanese architecture, background, might be the perfect illustration of the Michellin guide:)
Sorry the girl is not looking at us, such a direct contact would be even more attractive.. anyway like her calm and lost-in-thoughts charm.

kluczowy jest tu pierwszy plan, sztucznie rozmyty, ktory odbiera sile reszcie.. no i utrzymanie calosci w zlotych tonach, jednak niewiarygodnych.. a szkoda..

wracam wiec jeszcze raz do uznania wczorajszej wersji mocniej trzymajacej sie ziemi, co wyszlo jej jakos na lepsze, w kazdym razie jak ja to widze)

    z pozdrowieniami,

This is one of the cases, I'm totally uncertain we watch girl or a boy.. anyway, let's agree, the day of her/his nose surgery wasn't the luckiest one.. ?

and for that reason your portrait of the - thin fancy Bunny in the urban environment - seems one of the saddest of the series..

evident beauty given by Nature has been spoiled by the human hand, by the human endless run to be perfect, to be a star.. or just: sb's else..

instead of model from the cat-walk we watch day-light-Thriller - character

like the delicate light and your touch here, Fred..

    Bravo! Welcome to TE Hell:))

Old and new? Blurred house in the background looks purely modern in conrast to the prayer wheel..
astonishing how people need and cry out for transcendental shelter for centuries and still..

That's really surprising.. human flow in the middle of the highly overcrowded surrounding..
that's a pity there are no more faces as the women at the left, trying to see sth closer.. which being more individual and interesting would make the composition more attractive.. but the trace of movement in the middle gives me smile, anyway:)

a ja sobie gdzies tam spie:)

Child's naive trust? Confidence? Joyful moment? anyway..

my soul is smiling to that girl.. want to make a friendship at once.. be close.. take from her that positive energy she emanates..

That's so decorative and I adore modern style in art design so much..
When we watch such a shape, first of all we think it's totally unserious.. children toy, interactive game.. after that one catches the fancy charm of those abstract shapes which were born to amuse us..
Like the idea a lot.. would love to have that lighting labyrinth at home..

Yes, he has all that:) As I learnt by the occasion of Parisian Gay Pride - not many women may be so outstandingly awesome in their female beauty and grace - as man - actually.. Let's agree that's strange a bit?
(I'm carefully seeking for general words cause you're sooo far more liberal than I'm Fred:))

One detail spoils that sophisticated Gay-lady's portrait - guy in the background - surprisingly without any dress or even small skirt who with his lazy NIke style breaks the balloon of haute-couture foreground..

At the other hand - men in trousers gives us some balance.. can't judge now..

Maybe your compo is much more complexed than I thought originally?:))

Venice water reflections.. they tempted me once to make a close capture of the Venice canal where in result of the accident I finally fallen, almost drowned.. I was fortunate to survive, my first Canon 5D didn't .. shot dead by salty water..

Recall that tragicomical fact watching the beautiful sonata of colors and shapes in your pic - twisting, curling, making his own version of reality above..

Sure, this is not Venice.. thanks God you didn't had to jump into the 5 metres deep water to make it:) That was 4 years ago, files were destroyed along with camera but I clearly remember they couldn't be so worthy as yours made at Srinagar:)
