    Hello Daniel,

This is truly a step back in time!
Only the cars interrupt the ancient ambience!
I love everything about it, from its dappled street, via its ornate buildings, to the spectacular church frontage. I can't think of many ancient streets that possess this amount of colour as well as the character.
A very well composed and executed shot.

    Have a great w/e,
    Bev :-)

    Hi Eleu
Another of your speciality and a very powerful minimalist. The moon's brill sharp in focus has superb detail and bright enough on it's own but the 'approaching' airliner make it even special with its superb splitting colour. An awesome depiction of height and vastness of space given by the proportion as seen here. Very impressive timely caught and balanced capture. Congrats and tfs.

    Hi Lisa
Lovely scene just the right amount of blurring! I know it's bit too dark but love the way the masses of milky moving water has turned out, one can almost hear the surge of water and feel the fine spray and almost looks like mist in places. The rocks seems to glow in the light and one can almost feel the algae on them. Excellent execution with the feeling of 'life' that they convey. Congrats

    Hi Krzysztof
Good sneak! What i really admire is balance light control that you have achieved between darkest and brightest areas of the scene. A great place to have such a great piece of work and so very well photographed in what looks like tricky light.Great indoor shot, Congrats, tfs.

    Hi Luis
Well spotted sight as that red stuff provides you as a strong anchor point lending the extra lift to this muted toned narrow alley. The characterful old buildings on both flanks takes us on quite a different feel glad you caught what is around you so well and share with us. Wonderful snatch and tfs, Congrats

    Hello Stephen,

The gateway is very ornate and lays testament to the importance of the house's occupant, whilst the open doorway is an irresistible invitation to enter. It surprised me that there wasn't an equally imposing doorway leading into the house, but we are just met by a plain wall. I can't see any 'open' sign but am curious as to whether the house was open to the general public. Maybe the grassy patches between the cobbles suggest not.

You have captured some fine details, some lovely light/shadow contrasts and given the whole quite a sense of mystery.

    Have a great w/e,
    Bev :-)

    Hello Arunava,
Welcome back to TE. It is a surprise to see you here after such a long absence. This is an elegant close study of these Nepalese temple gates, an artistic delight and a masterpiece of craftsmanship. It is a well exposed photo with supreme sharpness allowing us a close look at the many fine details. I see this was taken almost a ear ago. I wonder how this temple withstood the disastrous earthquake.
    Kind regards,

    Hello Ike,
It's interesting to compare the three pictures and to see darkness gradually falling over the city. You exposed this well, but I would have thought a much longer exposure should have been necessary in this darkness. You captured the exciting city atmosphere very nicely anyway.

    Hello Didi,
It's a magnificent bridge with very beautiful vaults. It's also a well made stitch and the fine warm light makes it a very pleasant photo. Is that just some logs lying in the water, or is it a stranded whale? Or maybe a submarine? ;-)
    Best regards,

    Hello Brenda,
You have taken a very intricate photo where all these structures seem to have merged into one gigantic architectural hub. Only the three persons outside the hotel are solid and real, everything else seems to be floating in the air. It has taken a long time but now it is clear that NYC is about to create another landmark that in due time probably will be just as famous and beloved as the Chrysler Building, Flat Iron or Empire State Building.
    Kind regards,
    Gert

    Hi Lisa
what's going on, suddenly I can't keep up with all your newly posted photo! haha

this is what Tosca likes most, and its easy to see why.
when you can find a small water fall that cascades down like this you have to take advantage of it.
Its like finding a leprechaun at the end of a rainbow!
    Or is that Gold lol

Overexposed or not, its going to happen with these long exposure waterfall shots, there's nothing we can really do about it. The key is the cascading parts, lucky for you to find this gem!

Tosca will love it when I show her
    Cheers
    Craig

    Hi Aleksander
this shot works well because of the height it was taken from, the pov makes a large impact.

and one of my favorite parts of the photo is the tall smoke stack in the far bg too :)

easy to see why you'd want to capture this shot, I would also.

and as for your note, I'd prefer to see Crop Circles! haha...yes, it's a little known secret that I AM a believer :)

the long lines really do add a lot, infact they almost work as the main focal point, our eyes are immediately drawn to the tractor lines.

you certainly live in and around a beautiful area!
