    Ciao Caro Silvio,

    What an excellent contre jour!
The tree's shadows spread out like a fan across the grass, guiding viewers inwards, towards the focal pastel coloured villa.
The tiled pathway makes an alternative approach.
It is a beautifully composed shot with interesting features and perfectly balanced.

    My warm regards,
    Bev :-)

    Hello Aleksander,

The light is beautiful, creating a mood of warm tranquillity. The features are really well positioned to create balance and to get the very best results from the reflections in the still water. The trees look mischievous, peeping over the walls, and the colours are glorious.

    My warm regards,

    Bonjour Roland,

I think there are many of us who love shadows and reflections and this was a fine one to photograph, with the plain, pastel coloured wall to act as a b/g.
There are lots of different textures to appreciate and, a little humour from the washing!

    My warm regards,

    Hello Serghei,

I really like this idea, where you use a very shallow dof to give attention to the blossom but there is enough information in the blurred b/g for our imaginations to fill in any gaps.
    It's a lovely, thoughtful photograph.

    My warm regards,

    Hello Ney,

    Nature at her very best!
The still waters are amazingly clear but with the added interest of sunlight reflections.
Your low pov has given a superb sense of depth.

    Ciao Caro Carlo,

This is a very well chosen viewpoint and for this shot, quite different from the norm. Every element is very well positioned in the frame, giving all round interest and strength.
I really like how we appear to be like a bird, looking down on the actions, and everything so clear and sharp.

    Bonjour Denis,

You have secured an interesting lead into the m/g of your scene, where the village stretches across the frame, separating the two sections of greenery. The light has that wonderful luminescence, often found when there is a combination of sun and heavy cloud, or when the sun emerges just after a heavy rainstorm.

    My warm regards,
    Bev :-)

    Hello Miguel,

    Welcome to TE.
Your photograph is very nicely composed, using the rule of thirds.
The rocks look to be volcanic and give interest to the f/g, helping to create a good sense of depth.
I think you may have a slight colour cast on your photograph which is easy enough to remove if you have a programme like Photoshop.
I will do a w/s for you to show the difference.

    Kind regards,
    Bev :-)

    Hello Adrian,

When I saw this as a thumbnail I thought that it could easily be a church from my own locality, when I considered the colour of the stones, the roof and the neat wall but, on closer examination, the windows are too narrow and rounded.
It is a beautiful church, taken from a viewpoint which gives us interesting information about its context. The exposure is perfectly sharp and the colours are strong.

    My warm regards,
    Bev :-)

    Bonjour Nicole,

This is a very well conceived viewpoint, where the prows of the gondolas, capture f/g attention, each one showing a few more details to eventually reveal a whole boat, but they also act a lovely, natural frame for the strongly placed b/g tower.
A fine example of good composition.

    Have a great w/e,

    Ciao Caro Luciano,

For an indoor shot, you have managed to capture an amazing amount of light and lovely, strong colours. You have made no mention of a tripod, so I am even more impressed.
I perfectly understand why you have taken the viewpoint in this shot; it allows us to see the detailed art work on the pillars, under the arches and on the ceiling.

    Have a great w/e,

The trees really come into their own, containing the details of the pool and fountains within their uplifted branches. The light creates lovely reflections in the water, creating quite a sense of movement.

The clothes of the figures suggests it was quite a warm day. I do love this time of year!
