    Hello Noel,

Now this really is an impressive castle, right on the edge of the sea and towering over the sandy beach!
I like the inclusion of the rock strewn f/g, which curves naturally to the focal castle and sets the scene.
The castle itself, reminds me so much of fairy tale castles, with its multitude of tall, tight turrets. Couldn't you just imagine Rapunzel sitting high in one of them, waiting for her prince to arrive.

    My warm regards,
    Bev :-)

    Hello Chris,

You have captured the whole mood of the appeal of Greek Islands, their mixture of isolated coves, ancient ruins and Aqua blue seas. Of course, we cannot include Greek people into the equation, though they are certainly one of the assets.
The composition is well considered, with good leads, which take us around the contrasting features and textures.

    Kind regards,
    Bev :-)

    Ciao Caro Luciano,

Reflections add a special interest to a photograph.
In this case, we are seeing a double reflection and it is a puzzle to separate the different images.
You were alert to recognise the possibilities here, and to capture them so clearly.

    My warm regards,

    Hello Manuel,

This is a fine, diagonal composition .
The evening sunlight has really brought out the warm colours of the walls and helped to create a lead into the b/g to see the extra details of the town.

Beautiful shot, the golden sky compliments the many deep layers of silhouette so well. I love shots taken straight into the sun, and here we 5 suns to enjoy thanks to these fine reflections. A beautiful moment to capture, really nicely done.

    Hello Alfred,

It is difficult to reconcile centuries old traditions with modern concerns for health and welfare. It is easy to understand why each participant wants their viewpoint to be followed.

This is very much a journalistic photograph, to be retained, as things are sure to change.
It is very well composed and has amazing clarity, especially for. Night shot.

    Hi Delphine
A moody shot, and as I read your thorough and excellent note, i can picture the many varied people who would have sat in this place, it seems fitting and a little sad that it is devoid of people in your photo, but that adds a lot to the scene. I can squint my eyes and picture 500 years of ghosts walking through these arches and sitting at that bench.
Great choice in black and white.

    hi Ourania
I often see people here on TE give the useful advise, never forget to look up. Your gallery teaches us that it can be equally important to look down, as the ground beneath our feet can also offer such inspiration. This looks like a surreal painting, as the dappled texture of the path reflects the beautiful detail and character of this old house, which itself seems to be looking longingly at the sun.
    Really nicely seen.

    Hi Abmdsudi
The houses here look perilously close to the water as it is, in a time of a storm the likes of what this looks like, I would be hoping they can float. That sky is amazing. I love the soft ripples on the water too, they belie the intense pounding of water that seems to be mere seconds away.
All the colors of the houses add so much to the grey and threatening sky. Cool photo, I can feel the electricity in the air from this.

This is a beautiful shot, it is delicate and well considered, under beautiful light, there could be no better way to present this fine flower and time of year than you have done here. Your trademark perfection in depth of field is very obvious too and adds a lot to the result.

    Hi Stephen,
Looks at that sky, such incredible vivid blue, something i have not seen in a long long time. The perfect canvass on which to present this very impressive classically styled building. Its a beautiful design, but rather strange that the clock tower is so small in comparison to the portico. It seems very apt that the Navigator commands this high up position in the frame too, nicely done.

    HI Maciej
I agree that this is a remarkable photo, when i see this as a thumbnail I cannot help but come in and see it in finer detail. Superb graphism style and a brilliant 3D effect make this literally leap off the screen. I love red brick on blue sky too, so another very attractive element for me :)
The green is so very green, and the grass looks so soft. What an amazing place and photo, really nicely done.

I am learning a lot about photography through your gallery, thanks for sharing your work.

    Hey Lisa
For a second i thought you snuck back to Ireland again, all the greenery and sheeps. Were it not for that odd glowing ball in the sky, the illusion would be complete. It looks like one sheep likes you a lot too, he is fascinated by your lens! Its created a superb depth effect as well through having the sheep all placed so well in the frame. I see the one to the left of your woolly friend there is playing hide and seek with a tree :)

Strange that a place with a name like Cornucopia is suffering drought, but then again that does seem to happen in a lot places. There is a housing estate in Dublin called Cherry Orchard, and its as rough as a badgers backside. Elm street also sounded like a nice place to live til mr Krueger turned up. On the other side of the coin, one of my favorite places in Dublin, the Grand Canal theatre is build on Misery Hill.

Hmmm, I see a trend here. My mind is made up. When I win the lottery and build a mansion, I am not going to call it something positive, just to be safe. In fact I will call it "pestilence, famine, war and the other of the four horsemen of the apocalypse, all riding into battle with swords of fire grove". Has a ring to it :)

Hope all is well with you and yours!
    Cheers

    Hi Daniel,
This is awesome, it does not look like a theatre, it looks like some key, defining moment in some movie about a dystopian future, all of these silhouettes walking into the sunlight actually seem to have an air of trepidation and they throw beautiful shadows. The way the sky blends into this vast spectrum of colors is just superb. The talk black column to the left seems ominous and imposing (in a great way) and makes it feel like these people are escaping to a better life. Really nicely done Daniel meof the photos I have seen in a long time.

    Hi May,
This is really cool, you have taken something so unique as a work by Gaudi and transformed it into something else. At first glance of this in your gallery, I thought I was looking a scene from deep space taken through a telescope, it looks almost like some sort of planetary eclipse. A simple composition like you chose here works perfectly and the colors are superb. Beautiful photo.

This looks brilliant in black and white, it is like looking at a scene from a famous movie, and I love how the top of the tower is shred in mist. The sense of the scale of the tower is brilliant, looking at the people and cars below, it look gigantic.the tip seems like it is also in the clouds with how you placed it. Cool photo.

That is an epic building, I wonder how many rooms are in there? You present this beautifully, it's framed to perfection between the rich green grass and blue sky with its wispy clouds that look almost like they are emanating from the hotel. I would imagine in the right conditions and perhaps black and white, this place would look really spooky. Thanks for an excellent note too, lots there I never knew.
