    Hello Ghislaine

Splendid washing day shot from Livorno. The lighting is fine as is the colours. The orange clothing is really the cherry on the cake. Excellent! TFS.

    Ciao Francesco,

A view of the temple from the corner as you have caught, I believe also is the best possible vantage point (2-point perspective) you could have employed. The light is fantastic. The textures of the stones, the carvings, the deep shadows and the colors are all first rate. I have visited Taormina on many occasions, but it is Siracusa, Trapani and Agrigento that I want to see most.

    Warm regards,

    Hello Barbara,

In its composition, this one is similar to a photo of a street corner you posted last month. You had a gorgeous day for both shots, and you produced excellent renditions of the intersections of New York. Here you have a pedestrian who becomes a focal point. It's very effective.

Warm regards and happy Memorial Day weekend,

    Hello Will,

The puzzling title certainly elicits a view, and an invitation to read the photographers's note.
But obviously it's more than that. As a photograph of a work of art, a real specialty in photography, it is absolutely first rate. The colors, texture and the depth-of-view are outstanding... and I enjoyed reading the note.

    Warm regards,

    Greetings Pyotr,

The composition is first rate with the crest of the mountain running diagonally. The crisp light, the resolution and colors contribute to the eye catching image. You have convinced me, the next time I go to Barcelona (later this year), I must make it a point to try to see the Montserrat Abbey.

    Dear John,

It helps to know the owner, and for the owner to know that you are a modern Flemish Master. I can hear the shrill sounds of the fountain in my mind. What gorgeous reds and greens, in the perfectly composed photo.

    Dear John,

A field of tulips as far as the eye can see in perfect bloom, but as you mention you've removed some that are not quite ripe yet. This is in the Netherlands and not in Belgium. Can you ride there on your bike, or did you drive? There is a surreal aspect because it is so ideal.

    Warmest regards,

    Hello Stephen,

The photograph is technically first rate. Ideal lighting, sharp as obsidian glass, and featuring vivid colors of the Mediterranean sunlight. The palazzo is beautifully preserved. It's columns, arches, ironwork... are all opulent. It could date back to the Renaissance, or it could be an edifice in the neo-Renaissance design of the 30s, built by Chicago Mafia don who is in self-imposed exile. I'm relieved that even you can fail to give notes extensively researched. If it were shot by Didi, it could even be a composite of 4-5 photos seamlessly stitched together, and include the courtyard below. But it is a perfectly exposed beauty.

    Warm regards,

    Bulent

    Bonjour Nicole,

I like very much the two-point perspective you've chosen for the picture of the court yard. In the foreground the columns are backlit, and in the background well illuminated. The composition and resolution are superb.

    Hello Craig

Ah, remember this one from FB. Interesting how the upper half of the photo is almost as a b&w whilst the brown/yellow surrounds the house in the foreground. I really like the subject. and I think the colour palette suits the scene well. A nice additon to your growing collection of abandoned houses, planes, boats...

    Enjoy your WE.

    Hello Roland

I like a lot this fine composition. We had almost the same idea you and I. I posted a similar picture some time ago, well, that was a train and vertical format. I still think there are some similarities. You can have a look here: Polish train - Swedish colours.
The red contrast well against the blue and the title is right on. Great shot:) TFS.

    Bonjour Jean,

Fascinating, the way the small plant swirled around in the wind to created the concentric circular pattern, and just the combed effect of the wind on the sand. In bookmark format, the photo accentuates the dynamics of the sand and wind.

Warm regards and have a good weekend,
