    Hello Brenda,

It's a touching image and with your note, it creates a very good work of photojournalism. Of course, as "Fake News" it might be regarded as a creation. It was a brilliant trick to include the traffic lights in the lower corner as a gauge providing scale.

    Warm regards,

    Hello Kasia,

The young woman has a contagious smile. How could one not respond with a smile? The composition superb. When I was young, I remember a series on television about New York City called the "Naked City." It always started with the refrain, "There are seven million stories." Looking at this girl with her engaging demeanour I could rephrase the that TV-show's opening, "There are seven billion stories."

    Hello Jorge,

A very good view of the entrance to the Honeycomb Tomb. I did not know about the Brazilian King Pedro II visiting Schliemann there. From the photo it is hard to tell how immense that tomb really is, even with the people walking in front of the entrance. An unusual sight is the rain. Just 10 months ago I was there also and found that in the interior my iPhone gave me better results than my big camera.

    Hello Will,

It's always a pleasure to see recent posts from you. This is a lovely B&W work of art, the young man in the photo is ideally placed (almost exactly 0.618 parts measured from the right) and grabs one's eye. The note is detailed and complements the wonderful photo.

    Dear Mesut,

This photo belongs in a fine art history book. You've captured the timeless beauty of the mozaics that date back two millennia. I see that you shot the photo almost 11 years ago. I imagine, if we are careful, and lucky, we can still travel to Gaziantep.

    Hello Benny,

The scene is so frequently seen and admired. Your expansive perspective includes these temple, the deep woods, and the distant hills. The colors, however, are a bit disconcerting as if the scene was shot through plate glass. I am going to try a ws, I hope you don't mind, simply correcting according to Photoshop's sensibilities.

    Merhaba Murat Bey,

You've chosen an unusual by highly effective angle depicting two of the four Presidents memorialized at Mt. Rushmore. I am embarrassed to admit that in my two trips by car across the country I missed Mt. Rushmore and I missed Yellowstone. I did, however, get to Yosemite, which I though was the most beautiful park in the United States. (I was a young post-doc at the time and more focused on getting to UCal-Berkeley and back.)

    Hello Kladio,

With the sunlight at a grazing angle the dimples in the sand are dramatically accentuated. I imagine the cabins are changing rooms. All in all, it's a lovely shot from down under Australia. I am frustrated that last year when we came to Australia, we could not spend enough to see anything beyond Sydney and Brisbane. That's akin to visiting the United States and seeing one coastal city. Hoepfully, we'll get another chance.

Unhappily, you are right. TE is down to bare bone members comprised of the die-hard members for 10 or more years ago. I think a number of Draconian decisions by administrators led to this state of affairs. I miss many of the people from my early years 2006-2007.

    Warm regards, Klaudio,

The perspective you've chosen is highly expansive, showing the architecture, and the life around the canal. A boat full of visitors are getting a very good idea of the beauties of the city that I want to see myself, #1 Bruges and #2 Liege.
