Welcome to TE Merel, and a funny photo you present as your first one. I like the dicks scattering across the road as the man in the background goes about his everyday business. Excellent sharpness.

I really like the atmosphere in your photo. Stillness, and in my opinion, not depressing, but calm and pensive. The snow isn't exactly white, but it works well as it gives the photo the look of a painting. Well done.

a great looking shot. the extreme wide angle gives the steel structure an almost dome like quality. the background looks a bit too "slick", but overall a great b&w.

Hi Serena, your photo fits my mood today perfectly. The light in it is spectacular. The patterns in the sky and sand come alive and the stark black silhouette of the bird matches the mountain range. I also like the really bright spot in front of the seagull. It gives it a sense of hope. I bet this would look great in B&W as well.

This is an embodyment of freedom, to fly away as the sky is the limit. Great compo, with the tree on a third and the birds taking off in the opposite direction, giving the photo a dynamic movement.

Great view you can still see the rain in the air through the pinkish light, as darkness comes along. Good detail despite poor light.

A great assembly of different colors. I like the way the rope-looking baskets snake around and divide the colors apart. A bit dark though. Well seen.

A very clever and inventive composition, using the full potential of the shadow. The washed out sky actually works well to contrast against the shadow. A bit grainy but looks good all the same.

Remarkable clearness and depth of field, probably due to the great aparture of the lens you used. The foreground adds perspective to the towering mountain. Very well done Avijit.
