How unusual to see a completely white church, especially in a winter landscape like this. It is almost like it is made of snow too. IMO the red cabin distracts from this impression and could be cropped. Otherwise, well done Frank.

What an astonishing weather effect. I've never seen such ominous clouds close to a blue sky. Also, the setting sun create an innocent looking pink hue to the wisps of clouds on the right. The silhouette of the small trees futher enhance the feeling of something dark looming on the horizon.
PS Hope you camera didn't get wet.

Hej Magnus, jag gillar verkligen minimalismen i ditt foto, ser ut som scenografin till Becketts I väntan på Godot.
Hi Magnus, I really like the minimalism in this photo, it looks like the scenography from Beckett's Waiting for Godot.

All in all a very fine accomplishment Britt - and a warm welcome to TE too! The composition works very well with the small tree looking out of place on top of that rock. I wonder though what it would look like without the person in the frame? The quasi black and white and sepia look is awesome. I look forward to seeing more of this from you. :-)

Welcome to TE Amanda. I've seen this statue somewhare before, but can't remember. It is awesome though and the two small persons makes for a great point of reference. Without them the satue might as well be three feet tall.
