There is not place like Paris, and I guess you could also say there is no place like Vegas either! Nice shot, showing the two sides of Las Vegas - crass commercialism and that exuberant energy that makes it such a fun place to visit. Well done!

Great shot! The deep blue of the sky sets off the chimneys quite well, as they are bathed in warm light from the floodlights. The angle is great too, allowing us to see them individually, making this really seem like a forest. Well done!

Supurb shot! The compressed view gives us an unusual perspective, and those lines are very interesting and sensuous as they curve their way across the field. You have a great eye to be able to spot something like this!

Great shot! I'm really into minimalism these days, and this is the kind of shot that I like to see. The composition is simple and pure, allowing us to just concentrate on the essentials without any distractions. Great choice to crop out the sky too, and just leave us with the snow and the tracks. I really like the texture of the surface, which your close in view at the bottom of the frame allows us to see. Nice work!
Barber: old technique I I by jhm (139972)

Great shot! I like the angle, with the barber visible right over the top of the man getting shaved, and I also like how you got nice and close - really filling the frame with the two men. On the other hand, as some other people have pointed out, the line around the men is very visible - probably you should have blended more gradually and/or traced the men more closely. Good scene though anyways.
