Sohrab, interesting composition. While I don't disagree with the amount of sky, I don't think the foreground isn't very effective. I can't quite put my finger on it, but maybe it's because the lines don't flow that well and it's taken from an awkward angle in respect to the trench. This one just doesn't sit right with me for some reason. Perhaps a horizontal shot can convey more of the desolation than the vertical shot.
I don't know why I have been so critical of your recent works Sohrab. I've been looking back through my critiques and found I've been nitpicking a lot. Maybe because I feel you are very gifted, but when some of the stuff doesn't live up to your other works, I feel that I should point it out. Sorry.

Is that a flash? I like it. It added just the spark needed to fill the eye of the man in the foreground. I think it is unfortuate you couldn't find a balance between exposing the photo right without over exposing the their shirts. I wish I can see more detail on their necklaces. It really doesn't matter that much though because the facial expressions are all dead on. I just like to nitpick your stuff when usually all you hear is praise :). It's amazing how four sets of eyes can look so different while listening ot the same person. Although varying just slightly, each pair tells a story. Well done Sohrab.[+]

Fusun, this is an exellent exellent photo....better than the original I dare say. Good use of the wide to further pronounce the space between the woman and the symbol. Using the void and the balance of the geometry is fantastic as well. Just great all around. One of my favorites now.[+]

Evren, I like the shot, but I think the right side of the photo is a bit barren and doesn't really balance out with the left side of the photo. I think including the dog is rather nice, but I don't know about the rest of the jugs on the table. However, the gaze of the young girl is captured very well.

I am sorry to say, but I think this is one of your weaker photos Sohrab. Your shadow on the woman's face is a distracting, and I'm afraid the composition is just not as unique as some of your other works. Don't take it as an insult, but I know you could of covered this rally better with another shot.
On the brightside, I like the colors :)
I am curious what the sign they are holding up says.

Interesting shot Maciej. This just reminded me of the Magnum photos shot of the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Where all the tourists are in the foregroud trying to push up the tower. I wish you shot this wider to include even more cameras (ie, the one on the left) to give this photo even more power.

This is good old fashion stree photography. I like it a lot. I can feel the hussle of the street, the sun beaming on my face and music in my ears. So much going on here, and you managed to capture it so well. Good touch with including the sign on the top left. Well done.
