Lol at the nickname! Well composed with good sharpness and density levels. Excellent colour and saturation. A lovely blue sky too. If Tokyo can do it why not Beijing which has far fewer people and motor vehicles. The fg red topped boat contrasts well against the blue water and sky and makes a good focal point. Tfs!

A superb high pov with well managed backlight and splendid reflections of light off the shimmering sea covered in diamonds. The curves of the bay enhance the composition and add strong lead in lines. Excellent color and saturation. Tfs!

I've heard that there is nothing much to see in Lyon but judging from this image that information looks to be wrong! Good high pov with excellent sharpness and good colour and saturation. Well composed with the horizon line well placed above the centre. The cathedral looks interesting and makes a fine focal point. Tfs!

Looks like a relaxing summer scene and the person on the board paddling out nicely breaks the repetitive pattern of the static fg bathers to add contrast. Good sharpness and a nice warm cold color contrast between the reddish yellow sand and the blue water. Tfs!

Yes golf by candle or torch light doesnt sound like a good prospect. Good sunset with excellent graphism and silhouettes of the fg grasses. Nice warm cold colour contrasts and superb saturation & framing using the rule of thirds. Tfs!

I like the semi abstract look and feel of this tightly cropped image. Good reflections with the ripples adding interest. The green at the top and the 3 vertical shapes reachig deep down into the image from the top add balance to the compo and follow the rule of thirds. Tfs!

Love the super saturation and brilliant Autumn lighting here. The high pov gives an expansive view out over the lake and the power lines at right have been skilfully merged with the vegetation rather than outlined against the sky. Tfs!

The zig zags and curves add nice lead in lines and repetitive motifs. The fog adds mood, mystery and atmosphere. Good sharpness and a pleasant diffused light. The A frame bg building looks interesting. The absence of people enhance the feeling of desertion. Tfs!

Looks almost tropical, the Amazon perhaps? Good inclusion of the jogger in blue shirt to add scale and context. The path adds nice lead in lines. Good sharpness and superbly managed backlight. I like the radiating sunbeams. Tfs!

After living overseas for 8 years, I've realised that the Australia I left behind in 2006 no longer exists. I've changed too and so has my city, even more so than me. In some ways better, in some ways worse. It's just different to the way I remember it. Such is life. Well depicted here. The Pretenders song "My City Was Gone" comes to mind.
The upward pov to the dome looks great. Tfs!
