Paolo, ciao! I always loved L Fontana, have seen some of his slashed canvases in Switzerland. This is a fantastic tribute to the artist, a minimalist art itself.
Love the look, the colour and the associations that the scene has evoked in you. Excellent.
Have a wonderful new year!

One of your most mysterious, ancestral shots, dear Kev. The light, the expression, the dark are all haunting. First I thought he was a sculpture, until I read your note... very nice work. Best for 2008 dear Gandalf.

Funny, a friend has just made coq au vin, haha. What a shot, Hugh, this is NY, the NY I so love, the NY of laces and sausages, all together. Exquisitely seen, with lovely hues, Hugh. Love the sensitivity with which you handle the light, so important.

Hola Miguel! What a silent beauty, the composition is as heartfelt as it is semi abstract, much that I love, with that orange sunset streaking onto the wall. A very unique way of shooting sunset that I can just praise highly, so warm and touching.
Take care Miguel,

This is superbly menacing, Chris, a real gem of alienation... the blacks are pitch dark, the contrasts sharp, the faces looking in all different directions... strong work, with great shadows pulling us to the world that has lost meaning...

AAAAAAAAAHHH!!! This IS it, that is exactly how they should offer us the morning coffee! You certainly have charmed him, no doubt :)
Marvellous shot, so close, so delightful, his expression could not be nicer, -- happy birthday! (What is "civil" birthday???

Excellent take, Grazyna. What on earth is he doing? Wielding a sharp knife? Who is he? Fantastic capture, very nice decisive moment. Is that you in the refelctive mirror? Ah, yes, the bw or colour problem... I go through that almost daily. Here I would opt for the bw, perhaps it sets the mood better. But I can see your dilemma, I love the colour as well.
