This deer is cute, but we can see from the WS that he might attack! It seems like he really is guarding the store, and he won't let anyone inside unless he feels like it. :-) Nice daily life shot from Nara. I like the view of the shop behind the deer, and, of course, we can also see Hello Kitty. :-)

This is a very visually appealing photo. I like that the vertical frame is filled with so many horizontal lines. :-) The colorful flowers break up the stairs beautifully and really jump out at us. Together with the added human presence, you have a dynamic scene.

This is a very effective composition to show just how Dresden has come back to be beautifully rebuilt. The empty lot in the foreground is very symbolic of the destruction and ruins, and then, behind it, we have some gorgeous architecture. Thankfully the city was eventually brought back to its former glory. I wonder why it took so long...

Cool beach - figuratively and literally. :-) Mountains and sand, a beach with snow...these are combinations that we usually don't see together. I really like the WS, too. The sunny skies give this spot a totally different feeling, Tosca looks happy, too. :-)

I don't think anyone can ever get tired of seeing classic masterpieces like the Taj Mahal. I like the different levels of people in this view. The edge of what I assume is a pool of water on the bottom compliments the horizontal line just above it. It's such a stunning site.

What a masterpiece of nature, presented beautifully by you. :-) The change in colors as we move from top to bottom is great. Just looking at this photo for a few minutes is inspiring, and it certainly evokes emotion.

This is a lovely composition. I like the way we are sharing the lake view with the couple on the bench. I always enjoy silhouettes, and I also like the way the prayer flags are stretching across the frame. The colors are very vibrant, too.

It's nice to find this gem from Spain mixed in with your recent photos from home. :-) The long exposure is great, and the illumination of the bridge and tower really jumps out. I can see there must have been a slight breeze, since there is a gentle blurring of some of the treetops. Nice POV, with the bridge cutting across the frame. By the way, thanks for your recent critiques. I hope all is well. :-)

I like this photo, which lets us enjoy the details on this facade along with the main couple. :-) Then we also have the theme of stripes popping up in different places: some shirts, the steps, the facade in the background. Tuscany seems like one giant art gallery, both indoors and also outside. It is definitely a magical place.

This scene, much like the one in the Cuban library, shows the simple way of doing things in Cuba. There are no fancy electronics to be found, just a regular calculator. Once again, there seem to be only women working there. Do men also hold service positions in Cuba, or is it primarily work for women?
