Hello Mesut, I was surprised to see this photo. I know exactly where this is, because my sister lives in this building!! You must have been staying in the Bentley Hotel, which is just around the corner. I often play around with reflections and views of the Queensboro Bridge from my sister's window. One view is in my gallery from a few years ago. I like this familiar view very much. :-)

Hello Malgo, What a burst of color! The red church, together with the beautiful flowers and the red and green sign, all combine to make this photo pop out at us. Luckily the sky was also bright, blue when you took this photo. It's a very attractive composition.

Hello Alexandre, I like a strong storm, (as long as I'm inside!), and it looks like there was a big storm passing by when you took this photo. The color of the water is beautiful, and I like the bits of sun sun peaking through in the distance, too.

Hello Krzysztof, This is another place that I remember well from my long-ago visit to Germany. The palace is very nice, but I think the grounds are even more beautiful. Great view of the water, gold statues, and the palace behind them. I remember it being a chilly August day when I was there, and your photo brings back nice memories.

Hello Bev, Great POV looking down at the memorial. If the city wasn't listed, I wouldn't guess that this was a site in Edinburgh. :-) I like how the view stretches out into the distance, showing us a glimpse of the city and water. I like how the trees separate the memorial and the rest of the city, too.

Hello Abmdsudi, This woman has a face that reminds me of Mother Teresa. There is something so pure about her. I like your chosen focus and depth. There was a true connection in the moment you pressed the shutter. I also like what you wrote about beauty in your note. :-)

Hello Lisa, I was a bit surprised to see this title on a photo from Australia. Of course the Black Lives Matter movement is prominent in the local news these days, sadly because of more police killings of black men. It's disheartening to know that the same thing is happening with the First Nations People over there. How can the same biases be constantly repeated without any changes being made? It's baffling...This photo is a strong one. I like the defiant eye contact, and the flag being held up. Hopefully any protests in Australia will be peaceful ones. There have already been several police officers killed here during recent protests.

Hello Chris, Great POV and wide view of this sacred place. The gold dome shines like a beacon. It's nice to see the activity of the visitors, and they add small splashes of color to the otherwise earth-colored scene.

Hello Craig, Welcome back. :-) This cemetery reminds me of the one here in downtown NYC next to Trinity Church. Didi you go there when you were here? I like the old headstones and the mossy green color. It would definitely be interesting to read the dedications.
