The details on this old house are truly beautiful. I wonder what the inside looks like. It is too bad that the taxi never moved, but I liked seeing the entire facade in your WS photo. I hope houses like these are able to be preserved for many years.

welcome to TE! This is a lovely autumnal view. I like the different layers in this scene: the fallen leaves in the foreground, the small bit of water and colorful trees in the center, and then the beautiful house off in the distance. The branches and leaves frame the top nicely. I'm just wondering: what's the dark silhouette in the left part of the photo? Here's a bit of TE advice: more people will be drawn to your gallery if you write some critiques. :-) Have fun here!

I think you did a nice job with this photo. I like seeing all the different patterns and colors. It seems that red is a very popular color in these carpets, and it's one that really stands out beautifully.

I like this kind of street scene. The boy is sitting perfectly between the woman's feet, and both he and the giant woman in the ad are using electronic devices. It's almost like seeing two versions of the same scene in one frame. Very well-seen and presented.

I like street art, and this duo is very interesting. I also like the contrast of B/W and vibrant colors in this scene. The painting of Audrey Hepburn is really well-done and life-like, too. Nice crop and presentation.
A Pigeon Market? by macjake (54830)

It's interesting to see how these guys are looking at you. They seem a bit suspicious - or maybe they just think you're nuts! ;-) This pigeon market is certainly different; I would think there are plenty of places in Istanbul to get free pigeons!! But then again, the street pigeons always get a bad rap. Thanks for the view!

I remember visiting this temple, and walking among all the people. I like this main view because it includes the entire gate, and we can clearly see the crowds of people on both sides of it. I like the closer view in the WS, too. We can see the incense floating in the air as well, which is a nice detail.

This is such a charming scene. The colors are strong, and the lighthouse is lovely. I also like the small houses surrounding it. It's great to actually have people inside the lighthouse, and we can see them perfectly. I don't think I've seen a view like this before, where we can see the occupants. It's an extra bonus that the woman's red skirt matches the color of the lighthouse! :-)
