Hello Craig, Cool, moody view of the Windy City. :-) I like the bit of cloud cover on the left side, and, of course, the high POV looking down at all the buildings. With the wide-angle lens it almost looks like a toy city. :-)

Hello Gert, These figures are creepy, but I like them. :-) For me it's always exciting to find unusual things in everyday places, and I also like surrealism. The main photo has nice contrast with the tortured man and the photographer. Both "people" are so different. In the WS, a boat glides peacefully by as some poor person is eaten by a strange bug...another great scene!

Hello Abmdsudi, This is truly some breathtaking scenery. I like the horizontal lines on the bottom part of the frame, showing alternating strips of land and water. The mountains are simply amazing, and they look so cold! Beautiful presentation and framing, too.

Hello Paul, This looks like a very inhospitable place. There's an amazing contrast between cold and hot, and I like your chosen POV. With the tourists in the background, and steam all around, it's a very interesting scene. I don't know why anyone would ignore the warning stones and get too close!
NAMIBIAN COLORS (To Rosemary) by serp2000 (43818)

Hello Serghei, This doesn't look like Russia. :-) You are right about the colors seeming like Namibia, and they are so rich and bright. This simple scene, with only three colors, is very attractive. Do you know why the land is red like that?

Hello Alexandre, This chocolate fondue looks very yummy. :-) I think I'd like to taste all of the dishes you mentioned, but chocolate is always my favorite. Nice focus on the strawberry, also showing us the pot and skewer.

Hello Gyorgy, As others have already said, when we open this photo we see a lovely field of depth and subject, but it's the ice cream cone that really steals the scene. :-) That photographer had excellent skill to use a large camera and still keep his ice cream safe. I do like the sculpture, too.[+]

Hello Craig, I like this version with the rocks in the foreground. Together with the trees, there is a rugged feeling to this scene. It seems like such a peaceful spot; I wouldn't suspect the big city is so close by. It's nice to see sunny skies in Vancouver, too. :-)

Hello Mansour, This is a beautiful and elegant portrait. The field of depth and focus on the girl is great. I like her pose with the violin, and also the bit of green cloth and braid that are peaking out. She is very pretty.
