I need to catch up with my reviews of your India photos! I'll begin with this fabulous view of the Taj Mahal. We get to see a lot of pulled-back views of this famous site, but I love seeing it up close like this. The details are really amazing. With the deep, blue sky, and some people walking around, this photo is really great.

This is really excellent B/W photography. The grain in the marble stands out beautifully. I like the repetition and curves, and your choice of crop and framing. There is a feeling of strength from this architecture, and it is conveyed well with this view.

What a magical view. I really like the light trails surrounding the firekeeper, and the way his head is down. The strings of light make me imagine fairies, which are actually the children that remain unseen in this view. With a bit of city skyline in the background, and excellent night exposure, this is a special photo.

I love this! I've recently been paying more attention to local street art, and this is exactly the kind of scene I would love to stumble upon. The textures of the bricks, the old windows, and the wonderful red balloon, all come together to make a bold and beautiful scene. I prefer your framing in the main photo, but the workshop is also very nice.

Here's my personal opinion on this lovely photo.:-) The colors are definitely special; it's amazing that these colors occur naturally, and seeing them must have been a treat. I like the abstract presentation, and the diagonal line running down the view. You were brave to go up in a Cessna in high winds, and I thank you for sharing this POV. Personally, I would have loved to see a sharper version of this same photo; I think it would make a great piece of art, and can imagine it hanging in a frame.

The golden color and strong silhouettes in this photo are beautiful. It was January when you took this photo, but there was no cold weather to worry about. :-) It really does look like a tropical paradise, and one that seems very calm and inviting.

You were recently in my city. :-) Nice capture of the new Freedom Tower. I like the bare tree branches at the bottom of the frame, (it's taking a while for the trees to bloom this spring), and the blue sky is also very nice. The new building is attractive, but I still miss the Twin Towers...
NYC's Chinatown by bona (13135)

I recognize this street from my recent walk in Chinatown. It's very hard to get good light on these narrow streets, and I also tried to balance strong sunlight and dark shadows. Despite the lighting situation, I like all of the local color and action that you captured. Chinatown is a fun place to explore. :-)

I like this tropical view. The position of the wooden path in the frame leads us off into the distance, and to all the lush palm trees. It's an interesting landscape with the sand and rocks, too. We don't get to see uninhabited islands very often, so it's nice to see this one. :-)
