The colors are definitely amazing in this scene. I love Japan, and fondly remember my two trips there many years ago. I like the circular window in this photo, and I don't think the white sky is a negative. In this particular case the sky compliments the temple, and makes the color of the leaves jump out even more.

This view, and the traffic notice, are definitely common sights here in the US. The traffic here in NYC can be terrible. You captured a nice and diverse bunch of vehicles: the motorcycle, the bus, and all the cars. It's so sharp that I can even see that one of the license plates is from Colorado. :-) I like all of the colors and the warm sunshine, too.

I was thinking about you while all of this madness was going on. I'm so sad for the innocent people who lost their lives, and the families who will have to deal with the loss of their loved ones. Your photo is poignant and beautiful. Insanity seems to be everywhere these days. It makes no sense...

This old door is lovely, and the wreath adds an extra bit of color with those red ribbons. It's great that the decorations in this town are so ecological. There are so many large light displays here now, and I can just imagine how much electricity is being used for them. I must admit that I love to see the lights, but the decorations in your photos are very special because they are made from local materials.

I am also enjoying the holiday windows here in NYC. This one has beautiful colors and a magical feeling to it. The exposure is perfect, and we can enjoy all the fun details. Thanks for sharing this lovely display.

This is a cool bit of urban art. The blue color really jumps, out against the more earth-toned background, and "Adam" has some interesting markings in him. It's always fun to come across something unexpected like, this.

This is another lovely winter scene. I like th combination of nature and cityscape. The trees look like they're covered in powdered sugar. :-) I like the bit of church spire that we see poking out, too.

I like this Oia scene because it doesn't show one of the usual dark, blue domes, but a softer shade of blue. It just so happens that the man's shirt is also the same shade, which is a great coincidence. :-) The modeling couple perfectly matches their surroundings.

This is a lovely winter scene. The old architecture of the monastery is beautiful. I like the stones and earthy colors. The Serbian flag adds a bit of brighter color to the scene, and the snow is lovely, too.
