Great view from the Skytree! Things are definitely packed densely together in Tokyo. I like the way the river cuts through all the buildings, and the depth in this photo is great, too. I've been to Tokyo twice, and really liked it.

I really like this view! The bright ferry really stands out, and it looks so long next to the pier. Using the old, wood pilings in the foreground was a great idea, and it gives a nostalgic feeling to the ferry boat. Yes, time passes quickly. One year ago we enjoyed a lovely day together. I'm still waiting to see if any TE members will come to NYC before this year ends...

What an ending to Derek Jeter's last game at Yankee Stadium on Thursday! It was definitely exciting and emotional, and it's nice of you to post some tribute photos. This is a great view of Jeter at bat, and your POV looking down allowed you to include all of the area around home plate, which I really like. The WS photos are also great. I can't believe neither NY team is going to the post season this year. I guess fans there in Arizona can relate to our baseball sorrow... :-)

This is sweet photo. Many people in big cities think that pigeons are annoying, but I like them, and I think they are beautiful. :-) This couple seems to be enjoying their baths, and their feathers look well cared for. It's nice of you to put out these pots for them. The greenery surrounding these birds is also very nice.

This arch is beautiful, and it makes an excellent frame for this lush scene. I like the symmetry in this photo, and the relaxing garden that people seem to be enjoying. Other people seem to be taking photos, too. :-)

Hello Jean Jacques,
This photo has a dreamy quality to it. I like the composition very much, with the silhouettes of the walkers and hanging leaves, as well as the clearing mist. The people on land and in the water are moving in opposite directions, which adds even more interest to the scene. It's a charming photo. :-)

This arch is beautiful, and I don't think enough people see it, or photograph it. You must have been standing near Bowery in Chinatown when you took this shot. I've only seen this spot during the day, but at night, with all the lights, it looks even nicer. Have fun in Turkey! :-)

Beautiful play of light and shadow that creates something unique. The old stones and the water below the bridge are lovely, and when you combine all the elements you find this simple yet attractive scene. For me, the phrase "x marks the spot" came to mind. :-)

This photo is a graphism and symmetry bonanza! All those lines and curves, together with some amazing architecture, all combine to make a great interior, and therefore a great photo subject, too. :-) This photo is sharp, perfectly-framed, and mesmerizing. Can you tell I like it?! ;-)

I like to play with light and shadows, and this photo is one that grabs my attention. The colorful light on the ground contrasts starkly with the girl in the dark. I like the way the colors spill out into the foreground, while the background colors are muted.
