Well I certainly love this type of photo. :-) At first I thought it might be the Willis Tower, but now I realize it's the John Hancock building. I like the reflections in the windows, and that giant X. Breaking down large buildings to smaller pieces or details is always fun.

This scenery is very dramatic. Having bouts of vertigo, I would definitely not cross that hanging footbridge! With the water slightly visible between the giant rocks, we can get a good idea of their height. That small, white house is in a very strange spot, and it must see some harsh weather being right at the water's edge.
Holocaust Memorial by ChrisJ (97974)

I like the POV in this photo, with a slightly diagonal presentation. Many people capture this memorial so that the space between the cubes is visible, but this view is very artistic. The colors in the sky are also beautiful. It's hard to write that the view is lovely when this memorial represents so much loss and pain. I can understand what you mean about the disrespectful behavior of visitors. It felt disrespectful when I saw tourists laughing and running around the 9/11 memorial, as if they were visiting an amusement park. We must never forget the Holocaust and all the innocent souls who suffered and died...

There is a timeless feeling to this photo - like it could have been taken many years ago. The small building is certainly showing its age, but it is very charming, and I like the small details, such as the arched windows. The greenery is very lush, and the people walking through add more bits of color to the scene. It's all very tropical and photogenic.

This is a charming house in a nice setting. I like the blue color and the small flower boxes in the window. The cobblestone street in the foreground is also lovely. It's like having a view to what Bergen must have looked like in the past.

This is a lovely reminder of spring. We are in the middle of a snowstorm here in NYC, so it's nice to see these flowers. I like the patterns made by all the branches, and the way there is one larger bunch of flowers in the center.

This is another interesting modern structure. I do like the shape, but the reflections at the bottom are also great. With the sun setting you got some lovely colors, and it does look like a futuristic ship coming towards us.

This is an interesting abstract. I like the tilt and the B/W presentation. I wonder what these discs are for; are they simply decorative? Whatever the use, they make a cool subject. Here's to non-conformity! :-)

This photo has such strong visual impact; those eyes are captivating! I really like this close view, with the white mask filling the entire frame. The shape of the face, the shape of the eyes, the B/W...everything is beautiful. Cheers to you for something different and bold!
