Fooled me. :) Nice angle makes it interesting. I didn't know there are 'more of these' in Italy. I went to Rome just two weeks ago and I must say I was kind of dissapointed seeing the Colosseum. It could be much better presented in my opinion. I've seen one in Tunesia and that one looks much better but than again, the climate is easier on the buildings. TFS.

That is just beautiful, very 'real' colors. I like reading notes in which you can sense the passion of traveling and where people put in so much effort to explore a remote location as this one. Seems well worth it and I'm not even a hiker. TFS!

Great light on the building but I get the impression that it is not entirely level?! I was there many years ago when the building didn't reach its highest point yet. Again, great shot but a picture cannot tell how hight this thing really is. You have to see it. Did you go up?

I love these kinds of shots. Being in a subway station is very different then being above ground because, I think, other senses are being stimulated more. First there is the light which is usally harder, edgier then above ground. It will create a different 'alert' atmosphere. Then there is less noise distraction of sound which can be found on ground level. No cars, etc. There is more smell underground. Less fresh. :) All of it combined, you are more focused on people especially those on the other platform: what they do, how they dress, what they look like. Watching people. It's fun.

Great note, interesting building. The diagonal lines in the building reminds me of the bird nest from the Beijing olympics. Here in my hometown Rotterdam we have a building called Red Apple which also has these non straight lines.

I think I know this place. Close to Le Coque in an industrial area, no? Nice building indeed. Most action takes place on the ground floor. I hate that industrial area because the finish (and start) of the marathon is all the way at the back of that area, kms from citi centre. Finish should be in city centre!!! :)
