Very nice, Mesut. Evocative and redolent of a bygone era. I like the sharp silhouettes here, also of the kind of rowboat one doesn't see in Istanbul anymore. This one reminds me very much of Ara Guler's beautiful Bosphous photos of the early twentieth century. Great work. Hope you post more of your older Istanbul shots.

Lovely reflection here, Janusz. I also like the soft (early morning?) light. The beautiful old houses, with their different textures and shades of gre, are absolutely beautiful. Perhaps your crop is a bit to tight for my liking though - I would have liked to see more of the mountain in the background. Great shot anyway.

Great shot, Anand. I love the bright colours of the walls and their saris, and their friendly demeanour. Posed photos aren't always very successful, but there's something pleasant and attractive about this group photo. Good work.

Wow, Hakan, this is a great shot of the Mevlevi. Considering the low light and fast movement, you did a great job of capturing him so clearly and sharply. Good crop too, and the look of serenity on his face adds much to the mood of the shot. Tebrikler!

Lovely shot, Kasia. I like the reflection and the soft (winter afternoon?) light. I just wonder if a landscape view would have worked better here? On the other hand, then you would have had to sacrifice some of the golden reflectiosn. You've captured a subtle mood here, well done.

Interesting shot, Siddharta. Moody, with some great touches in black and white. Somehow the elements combine well to create an atmospheric whole. The photo first caught my attention b/c of the title - kafka is my favourite Murakami novel. I'm not sure if the photo captures the same mood of the book, but it's interesting in its own way.

Great shot Andy. The reflection is superb. You caught the atmosphere of those peaceful last moments of the day in Yangon. Your crop is very tight, but I do remember that there are some unsightly buildings in the background. This photo brings back great memories.

Beautiful shot, Gert. You've captured the atmosphere of the street in this shot. There's so much to hold the viewer's attention here, from the beggar in the foreground to the colourful clothing and architectural detail. This image makes me want to visit Tibet, which is probably one of the highest compliments a photo can get.
