I have just seen a job advert from Ghent, I guess this would be a beautiful place to live. Lovely stylish houses along the river. Very photogenic spot, great that the trees are still naked the leaves would not allow a photo from this POV I guess.
The passing boat adds a nice touch. A picture full of atmosphere, very well done,

beautiful postcard like presentation exactly as I like it. Fantastic weather with lovely blue sky and we can admire this unique pink color of the stones which you mentioned. Spectacular architecture, never seen it before.

beautiful cloister, very well taken care off. I like the clean white walls and a unique architecture. You had a great weather over there, it seems warm and pleasant, very inviting to visit. And no people around.
Very well done!

very challenging light here indeed but you achieved an interesting dark mood. I like it very much. I had the pleasure to visit this lighthouse also at pretty bad weather (click here to see it) so I helped myself with HDR. Now I don't like the effect which I created at that time.
You picked a great POV and the filter has smoothed both the sea and the clouds. Very interesting effect.

bardzo ciekawy kosciol, jeszcze chyba nie widzialem niczego podobnego, interestujaca bryla. Oczywiscie pokazales go przy pieknej pogodzie i w konsekwencji w uroczych barwach. Ladnie obramowany nagimi drzewami.

very funny presentation with fantastic title. It reminds me a postcard which I have seen in Ireland, it presented a quite damaged old house, wooden and appearing as if a second before collapse. Here I have to mention that the prices of houses in Ireland became ridiculously high, beating California, regardless the location. So the comment under that photograph said something like: "500 more payments and the house will be finally ours".
Great idea here, very well done,

I think I have visited a majority of SoCal beaches but not this one, so I am glad to see it. The pier has a nice building at the end, which reminds me a bit pier in Huntington Beach, Manhattan Beach or Malibu.
What I really liked about Californian coastal towns and beaches is that they all had some distinct character, there was one for artists, another for surfers etc
It was a pleasure to discover new beaches.
After California I lived next to Baltic Sea, Celtic Sea, Irish Sea and now North Sea so usually somewhere near a coast so I keep discovering new beaches but they are never as beautiful and pleasantly warm as in California,

the threatening sky adds a very nice touch here indeed. It contrasts well with the brightly lit foreground. Boats make a nice foreground with some inscriptions in Greek alphabet confirming the location. The modern church adds more interest.
Very well done,
