not only the unique green color but also extraordinary light contributed to very interesting ambience. It feels at first like in a southern country. Later the dark clouds remind that it is north. Nice contrast between the well lit foreground and the dark background.
Great composition with the little pier making a nice asymmetric lead into the scene. Boats and the person walking in add more life both visually and literally.
I would never guess it is Scotland. I like such surprises.

lovely skyline indeed. Great addition to your collection of capital cities. The tower seems to have a unique shape which makes it recognizable once one has seen it before. Nice green area in the foreground.
Very well done!
I am jealous of your collection!

I am so jealous! In England it was miserable this year. I mean for English it was a ok summer but for people from outside it was just so bad. It seems even northern part of continental Europe was better off this year.
Lovely presentation here with warm pleasant colors. The houses have nice colors, you have well taken care about the foreground, everything is so pretty! The sailboat adds another beautiful touch.

this structure seems somehow out of place here. There is some contrast between the modern looking installation and the unspoiled nature stretching far to the horizon. I wouldn't guess it is an art, I thought it may be some power related station...
You had a wonderful weather there. It seems like a wonderful region, I have to see it someday :)
I am sorry again that our meeting did not work out, but I was quite tired and busy after return from Poland and I guess your schedule must have been even more busy... I hope we will have another chance again.

I had the pleasure to visit this unique lake. It is quite extraordinary. I like your presentation here with the tufas making intriguing foreground and the lovely scenery opening behind, with great sky as a background too.
Very well done!

beautiful palace. I remember seeing plenty of them in Rome. They are so elegant and give the town a unique atmosphere. captured in a great light here with the oval sculpture making a nice long shadow,
Very well done,

Yes indeed: it seems like a concrete forest. Without the map it would be difficult although I wonder now if the Japanese alphabet would be of any use for me anyway...
The river at least seems like a good point of reference and it is really nice to have it here passing diagonally.
Very impressive view, great work,

I suspect you have actually taken photos of the bride in this spot, haven't you? And the stairs are so narrow that I can imagine that there may have been not enough space for three people...
Yes you are right about the necessity of photographing these famous spots. That is what I call the postcard-like-approach, I think it is quite normal to have a souvenir like this. I dream about taking this one too.
Nice angle here. The stairs make a nice foreground.
I would like to see it a bit wider but I see you have used the wide angle already.
Fantastic spot, I am so jealous of it,
