I like your compo, that gives much strength to an already strong topic. The different lights give also much power to the picture, by underlining the different parts of its structure.

I like the perspective you chose in this picture. The radiating lines, together with a very colourful center is an allegory of the explosions the people came to see.

I am glad to see that you are posting again, and i am very interested in watching your pictures. This one is already interesting, and reminds me of my trip last year. Though it belongs to the Registan complex, this particular building (tilla kari) was built during the XVIthcentury, later than Ulug Beg's madrasah.
I gues you made a fantastic cycling trip, and I am ooking forward to seeing your next posts,

Bonjour Pascale,
C'est une très belle photo, bien composée, et qui permet de bien voir les offrandes. Lors de mon voyage, j'ai pu voir plusieurs fêtes de ce type, ainsi que les concerts de gamelan qui sont joués pour l'occasion. Ce sont vraiment des moments fantastiques.

Hi Tina,
I very much like the soft light in your picture, as well as the expression of concentration of the lady.
I am a little bit surprised by the 5 years you mention for the fabrication of one sarong. I have bought one ikat sarong with the blue colours of Bali. It is more expensive than the printed batik ones, but not much more, and the surface of a sarong is not so big that it takes so much time?
