Hi Kath
I just love winter pictures and this one really captures the essence of winter. The little stream once again leads the eye into the scene. The muted colours and tones add to the serenity of the scene. Looking at the other posts in the Ws I think I prefer the vertical shot with the bridge in the background and the falling snow.

Hi Kath
A beautiful winter scene. The lane leads the eye into the scene on through the gates and into the hills beyond. Exposure and colours are once again spot on.
It makes me want to be part of the picture walking along the lane up into the sowy hills.

Hi Hath
A beautifully composed shot as always especially with the vertical format.A perfect winters day on the moors.Plenty of texture shown in the snow and the blue sky contrasts well . The vegetation adds good foreground interest to the scene.
I stayed at the Lion Inn on Blakey Ridge when I did the Coast to Coast Walk in August 1999 and passed Fat Betty on the way out towards I think Great Fry-Up Dale. We were on our way from Blakey to Egton Bridge via Glaisdale.

Hi Kath
Another landscape masterpiece. The autumn colours are sensational and are nicely set off by the deep blue sky. Your point of view gives us a really great feel for the
area. The clarity and depth which you achieve in all your shots is superb.
As you point out the colour of the aspens as shown in your workshop are truly amazing and I can imagine that it must have been an awsome feeling to see them up close.

Hi Didi
A beautiful picture well executed. The colours and composition are really excellent.
I must confess that I am quite ignorant about HDR images but judging from the result you must now be quite experienced in this field.

Hi Henryk
What a stunning scene. I like the way the ice has formed into curving and weaving patterns. The lighting is superb and really picks out the detail in the photo. A great shot.

Hi Jean Yves
This is a truly lovely photo a your village. The road and the fence tend to lead your eye into the scene. The church looks great on the left looking down onto the village.
I was in Switzerland two weeks ago and I have never seen so much snow. On my travels by train through the countryside I saw many similar villages all with their covering of snow which made them look like picture postcards.
Regards
Malcolm
