I'm taking a wild guess here...is this a sleeper bus that goes between Lhasa and Golmud that takes anywhere from 40 hours to 3 days? I took a similar bus 5 years ago and must admit it was one of the most miserable rides I've ever taken. I think the sleeper seats were purposely designed to by old Communists to remind you of the hardships from the Long March. BTW, the guy on the far left, I can tell that he looked reliefed!

Beautiful photograph. It has a very strong atmosphere feel. It reminds me of shadow puppetry portraying an ancient and dark mythological story. The monks looks as if they were stone statues, possibly turned into stone by a powerful wizard. Yet they might turn into life at any moment.

I think this photo captures La Paz very well. It is a city of two worlds. To me your image on the left represents El Alto (ironic it is also the way to get there by going up) - the struggling poverty-stricken satellite of La Paz, and the right side of the image is where the affluent lives with its high rise apartment buildings. The city feels fictional and your image is surreal in that sense. Great job!

I've been to the Salar di Uyuni twice but this photo is very unique; it's like a watercolor or pastel painting. Nice to see colors other than blue and white from photos of Uyuni. Curius to know if there's any retouches. Great job!
