I love the photo, I don't care for the frame around it, I think a darker green or black frame would work better, only because, it would help convey the feeling of age, and the history that this tree has been witness to. I maybe would tone down the brightness a little to also help convey that message, but I do love the picture and it makes me want to go see it, and imagine the history that has been recorded in it's rings.
