Welcome to TE! I really like this photo. It tells a story on both a individual and global level. I agree with Pauloog above, this isn't the best in terms of colours. Maybe next time try a black and white from a different angle, accentuating the ripples in the sand, and the sun coming in from outside. Great first post though.

Mama! I'm scared! Really cool looking photo. Well done. The B/W was definitely the right choice for this. How did you do it though? Solarize? High contrast then invert colours?

Very nice photo. I think that it would be better without the roadside flowers in the foreground though.

This is a great photo, because it makes me want to go hiking! This is a perfect example of northern Canada - rocks, trees, and lakes! That's it! The 50/50 cut between lake and forest here shows this well. Good job!

I like how there's nothing but beach in the photo. I like the overly saturated colours in this. They give the photo a very beachy feeling. The only thing that I could recommend is to take that blotch out from the top of the photo in photoshop. Other than that, great photo!

Great photo. I think it could be better if you cropped it a bit to get rid of the support beams on the right and the overexposed bit in the upper right corner. Still, well done.

I like the simple orange and blue in this photo. Too bad there weren't more lights on in those buildings. Great photo anyways.

So weird to see fields of blue! I've never seen that. I like where you placed the shadow in the photo.

Hi Jan,
This looks great. I like the really natural colours of the turquoise blue water, contrasting with the blue of the sky and the blue boat. Really nice to look at.
