this is a fantastic shot! i love the way the pair is framed between the lamp post and the tree. very nice choice in going with black and white. i think the black frame is excellent as well - much better than white in my opinion. it really aids in bringing out the pair on the bench.

i got your note regarding moving the surfer to the right. i'm sorry i'm just getting back to you now but a move had me out of commission on TE for a while. i'm glad you tried it and liked the result. i think it looks great! i just moved from CA to NY and this photo reminds me of what i loved about CA -the wide open sea and the free spirit.
