One thing that comes across very strongly with all your photos is that you have a great eye for composition when taking a shot including this one .The only small criticism I have with it is at first glance my eye is drawn to the grave stone on the right If you could have cropped a bit tighter and removed two thirds of the stone I think it would have made it more striking that’s my own humble opinion

When taking shots with the sun behind you the problem is keeping your shadow out of the shot..
But you have put it to your advantage and incorporated in the picture.

Just a bit of info on your shot the hole at top right which looks like a window is infact an outside loo you can see the seat to sit on and under it a hole leading to the outside (no flush toilets in them days!)

You say this is not a great photo true!
Its a brilliant photo.. The way the cat is stalking.. the great angle you have taken it from. The cropping excellent.. a little bit of nit picking it's a pitty about the blade of green grass over the cats right eye.
p.s. regards Porteplume comments (re point 5)have a look at her photos of the bull dog!!!!!

This is a great sunset my own view is if you crop off the water spray from the bottom half of your photo It draws your eye to the sunset and away from the spray
(hold a paper over the bottom of the photo to see what I mean)
