Very vibrant shot of Old Glory in action! Also seems to pay tribute to maritime history (I think that's what all the ropes are!). Great color and composition!

It looks so different from what I remember... and even from other photos posted on TE. This site will be a good one for photos in the future, I think, because of the really interesting state of the ruins, such as these brick chimneys (I'm assuming) that are all that remains of the barracks. Very haunting photo. I really like the lighting here.

Great spontaneous moment captured on film. I love the soft, natural earth tones in the photo, but they're quite well balanced between light and dark as well. Nice focused photo, which is difficult sometimes when getting a shot of a subject this close up. Great composition!!

Great and very powerful composition. I would have liked the photo a bit larger and perhaps a bit more detail of the background, but it's very creative and poignant; the sharp wide with the rather serene green in the background.

I really like the balance of elements in this photo; the patterns almost appear like different "fabrics," i.e. the dark one to the right and the warmer tone of the gold in the center. The lighting is amazing also; it's always difficult to capture just the right moment when light is streaming in through windows.

This is an amazing composition; the color is incredible. It looks like burnished metal although it appears as though it's actully made of stone. The stained glass panels are usually the focus of photos but I think they are much more subdued here which enhances the photo as a whole. Awesome photo!

A very different perspective than is usually seen in Sandorini; lots of volcanic stone here, however. Interesting composition and great lighting!

Spectacular shot! Sometimes we just get lucky, and effects or things that would spoil other shots are just magical in others, which is the case here... I would perhaps suggest sharpening but it may ruin the effect, which as previous critiquers have suggested is very dream-like. It would be cool if it were just a bit larger as well, but awesome photo!

Stunning colors and lighting. Bold and captivating photo. It reminds me of the Monet painting of London (Westminister, I think), with the sun dipping below the water and the shadow across the water. Awesome shot!
