The architecture of this church is rather singular and your point of view captures it too good effect. The close framing puts the emphasis on the subject. I like the colours and clarity; just a slight pity for the white featureless sky.

I have to confess that this is indeed much more to my taste than the coloured ones, but chacun a son gout! The detail to be observed here is quite amazing and indeed truly beautiful. A superb capture in every way.
After your kind response and having done some research, I am definitely inclining towards a trip to Southern India next February. In the meantime my wife and I are off to Montreal on Wednesday. Not such a long flight from Bordeaux and the weather should be quite mild if a little wet at times.

This seems a delightful street, the atmosphere portrayed in your composition is certainly very engaging. I like the inclusion of the person in the foreground who adds a touch of vitality to the scene and helps create depth. Well exposed with fine colours and clarity. The lovely sky is a pleasing addition. Excellent rendering of the beautiful architectural detail.

The lighthouse that we can appreciate in much detail is nicely placed in the frame making for a strong composition. But what strikes most are the beautiful warm lights and colours and the play of reflections across the wet sand. Bonnes vacances!
