Interesting shot. When I saw the thumbnail I just thought it was a photo of people walking their dogs. Going to the full size photo is startling.

I just came back from a trip to the Phoenix area and this photo reminds me of the beautiful desert scenery I saw when I was there. I drove from the Los Angeles area and it's amazing how the cactus seems to abruptly start at the California/Arizona border.

I like the photo. I believe you are on Manhattan Beach Blvd in Manhattan Beach about 2 blocks from the Manhattan Beach pier.

I've been to Point Fermin but until now I never realized that there were these beautiful rocks there. The next time I'm there I will check out this view.

There is a small grassy park there too which is the starting point of the Palos Verdes Marathon which occurs annually in May. Also nearby is the "Friendship Bell" which is a large bell donated by South Korea.
