I also like your picture.
But I had a trip from Guilin to Yanshuo and during the 5 hours or so it lasted, I saw nobody fishing. I bet now they don't do it this way, I wonder if someone fishes at all (maybe for fun, only). In China a lot of things are somehow fabricated: old weaving methods nobody does it nowadays, "ancient" buildings built 20 years ago, and so on...but it's worth to see it anyway, how they at least seem to reproduce everything, so as not to forget how it was.
BTW, nice picture, thank you for sharing. Mine didn't look so good.

definitely not high season. I've just been there and I couldn't take a single picture of this street. Too many people.
I also agree with you, much more interesting than Guilin.
