Hello Malgorzata,
Another nice view of my dear Belgium, well done!
Just a shame that we can not do without the tramways power cables...same problem in Brussels,Antwerp...but,well...it's now "modern times"!
Have a nice day and week-end,
Fred

Hi dear,
This is a wonderful place of Ghent!Did you know that during the Festival of Flanders, they built a floating stage on the Leie for the music bands? Very impressive moment!
Barbara Hendrix herself once performed there...
Best regards,have a nice week-end!

Hi Malgorzata,
This sunny sundy morning I went out for a 20km bicycle ride;I went up to the Palais de Justice and on my way back I passed before the Musée de la Bande Dessinée...so I had a little thought for you!
This week-end is very animated in Brussels because of the "Zinneke Parade"...you'd have loved it for sure!
Small comment about your picture:during the cold season, there is a roasted chestnut seller right at the place where you took the photo, and it smeels very good throughout the underground station De Brouckère!
Best regards,
Fred

Good morning Malgorzata,
If you know Horta, then you already know all what's best about Art Nouveau/Déco architecture in Belgium!
You can walk anywhere in Brussels and find amazing houses, incredibly attractive, yet already 1 century old!
Glad to see you appreciate one of the most famous belgian specialties:comic strips (here we call it "BD",for "bandes dessinées).
The other one is belgian chocolates...and that's my job!
Have a nice day,
Fred

Hello Malgorzata,
I can see you've been enjoying your Brussels trip!
Indeed the Justice court is a very impressive building, and it has been built at its place (tophill) for a good reason:from downtown everybody could see this enormous symbol of Justice.
Its golden dome has been set on fire by german army at the end of WWII (it was used by gestapo as archive storage room),and is under reparation for more than 25 years now.
Have a nice day,
Fred
